"ok nice and easy" Phil says helping me walk
I finally convinced him to let me out of my hospital bed, and to walk around, granted he is helping me walk. And Clint is walking in front of me to ensure no obstacles are in the way. Because that IS SO necessary.
"Y/N?" I enter the main room of the SHIELD Heli carrier, and I see Fury at his station. He looks at me surprised before looking at Clint and Phil angry
"Hey Nick" I wave my free hand, and continue slowly walking over to him. He talks to an agent before stepping away from his control panel and walking to me.
"when did you wake up? why was I not notified about this?" he looks to Phil who avoids both of our curious eyes
"Phil?" I ask
"well we wanted Y/n to adjust to being awake before you talked to her" Phil says making me smirk, Fury gonna get mad.
"You should have told me she WAS AWAKE" Fury says. Clint walks up to me and smiles
"well now you know" Clint says making me laugh, Phil looks at me sheepishly
"How long have you been awake?" Fury asks
"not important, point is I am here" I say Fury frowns
"about a week" I say making Fury look at Phil
"A WEEK?!" Fury yells. I flinch at the tone and use my free arm to pat Fury's arm
"ok ok give them a break ok?" He looks at me and sighs
"how do you feel?"
"better, just sick of laying down. Hence Coulson and Clint monitoring me and helping me walk" I say he smiles
"that's good you know what you did was amazing, it had all of us proud, and you did save Coulson"
"thanks I-"
"no let me finish.. but it was also incredibly stupid" Fury continues
"but"
"no Y/n you could have gotten yourself killed. Hell you were in a coma FOR 5 MONTHS"
"Well at least he is HERE" I say gesturing to Coulson, who looks away
"Y/n" Clint says I shrug of his help and stand
"no Nick if you want me to apologies for saving him? well I won't I don't regret what happened. If it came between me and someone I love.. I will pick them every single time" I say before turning around, I turn too quickly and loose my balance.
Clint helps me up and walks me out and back to my room
Third person POV
"Director I-"
"Its ok Coulson, she just surprised me that's all" The man says as he watches the agent hobble out with Barton
"She is just on edge"
"Coulson, your both still here that is what matters now" Fury says turning back to his control panel. Coulson nods and walks away
Y/n POV
"Y/n he is right though" Clint says to me as I walk back in
"What I should have let Coulson die? Clint you know I couldn't do that" I say looking at him angrily
"No not that, just you scared the hell out of me. I just hate knowing that, I caused this" he says I frown and turn
