Jungkook POV

I went into Taehyung's mansion looking all over the place at the fancy decorations. 

It was an incredibly nice place. We walked into the living area where the party was mainly taking place.

Me and Taehyung were dressed nicely.

He was wearing all white while I was wearing all black. We looked like polar opposites. 

I liked wearing black more than other colors and frankly I didn't really have any other clothes in my wardrobe that weren't black so I just wore the most nice black thing I had.

When I first saw Taehyung's outfit, I joked that he'd spill something on that in .2 seconds. I mean it was all white after all.

The living area was really big and fancy, making me feel a bit overwhelmed, especially with all the people there.

We met with Tae's parents shortly after we arrived. They greeted me and said they were glad that I could come. I smiled in return.

For a bit, me and Taehyung just hung out with each other talking.

"Hey, is Eunjin coming soon?" I asked.

"I don't know, she should be here by now." Tae looked all over the living room trying to see if he could spot her. "Oh, she's right there!" He pointed near the door.

I looked over and saw her.

She looked just as pretty as when I saw her the first time. She suddenly looked in our direction, walking over to us. 

"Hi Jungkook, it's good to finally meet you, I'm Eunjin by the way." She introduced herself.

"Yeah, Taehyung told me about you."

"Well, don't believe a word he says, he's just jealous of my charm and good looks." Eunjin flipped her hair sarcastically.

Both me and Eunjin giggled. 

"Hey!" Taehyung said. "I'm just as good looking as you, maybe even better." 

"I hardly doubt that." Eunjin laughed.

"Uh whatever, I'll leave you two alone, see you later Jungkook." Taehyung said, walking away while waving.

"So you two get along," I said sarcastically.

Eunjin laughed. "Oh no we do, I just like to tease my little cousin, he gets offended so easily."

"Uh, tell me about it." I said. 

For the next half hour, Eunjin and I talked about ourselves and other things we liked. I really liked Eunjin and thought she was cool. I saw a lot of life in her eyes as she talked to me. We got along really well.

Eventually, we had dinner with the rest of the family and I was liked by all of Taehyung's family members.

After the party, Eunjin bid her goodbye to me but not before giving me her number. I smiled and gave her my number as well. 

While Eunjin waved at me, Taehyung came up beside me. "So, did you two get along?" He asked.

"Yeah, she's a really nice girl." I said.

…

Later that night, I was on my bed messing around on my phone when I got a text. It was from Seokjin.

Seokjin:

"Hey Jungkook, I'm excited to see you tomorrow. Have sweet dreams tonight ✨ 💜"

I smiled looking at the text.

Jungkook:

"Thanks, you too"

I responded. I laid down on my bed feeling nervous but excited for tomorrow.
