Jesper and Kaz both attend the Ballet Academy of Crows. They love dancing, in strange outfits.
Kaz always wears all black, except for a pink tutu. He finds it cool.
Jesper always wears all pink, except for a black tutu. He finds it hot.
Kaz, being Kaz, has hated Jesper for more than 30 years, even though they're both 17. Jesper desperately tries to get his attention, (because he's had a crush on Kaz for more than 30 years even though they're both 17) but the only attention he's getting is weird and disgusted looks his way.
Their ballet instructor is called Inej, who Kaz finds very, very hot and always thinks things along the lines of "Wow. She's really hot." (With no expression or emotion of course 🙄)
Once, he accidentally says it just loud enough for Jesper to hear, and Jesper suddenly decides, "but I wanna be hot." Because, of course, he's ugly.
So, he goes out to buy a shitton (like a lot) do dollar store makeup supplies, and tried it on.
Somehow, nobody knows how, he pulls it off. And now he's hot.
Jesper shows up to class the next day and Kaz asks him "Who are you. Are you new." (No emotion) Jesper says "No, you've hated me for more than 30 years even though we're both 17"
In this class, they need partners for a dance, and Kaz declares "I wanna be with the hot guy."
Jesper looks around, as if looking for the hot guy. "What hot guy...?"
Kaz points at him. "You. What's your name."
"You know my name, I'm Jesper." Says said hot guy.
Kaz frowns and reaches into his pocket. (That nobody knew existed, cause he's supposed to be wearing a leotard.) "Stop lying. Jesper is ugly, so tell the truth or else I'm going to stab you with a plastic spoon."
Hot guy points at himself. "Kaz, it's Jesper. I'm Jesper."
Kaz stabs him with a plastic spoon.
Inej immediately steps in and says fiercely to Kaz "No violence please, Mr. Brekker, and get dancing with Jesper."
Kaz looks down quickly and says "Yes ma'am."
"Stop that Kaz, I told you I don't give two shits about you."
At the same time she walks away, Jesper says "I care about you Kaz. It's really me, Jesper."
Jesper does some hocus pocus magic, and then Kaz believes him.
They dance together for the entire song, and Kaz was very very happy that he got to dance with the hot guy.
And from this day forth, Kaz always finds ways to impress Jesper, whether he's dressing up as a giant black crow, or doing 50 pirouettes in a row, or whatever, but Jesper finds it very hot and eventually they start dating.
