I stared out at the sea, the waves crashing on the shore. I watched as my wife chased after Naomi and Max. The waves splashing against them. "Honey! Come join us!" Natasha called out stopping to stare at me. I heard the calls of my children and smiled. Who could say no to having a little fun.
I tossed aside the book that I was writing into the sand and hurried over. The salt water splashed at my ankles as I picked up my kids and started running deeper into the sea.
If this was how the rest of my life was going to pan out then I wouldn't trade it for the world.
For anyone out there who may read my book in the future, I just want to let them know that there's always second chances.
