Chapter thirty

Rhislett's POV

I felt someone shaking me. Bloody Scarlett. " Scarlett let me sleep" and I heard a. Chuckle " it's me bubs" I just groaned " Chris let me sleep then" and I felt my bed dip from the other side " told you she wouldn't get up" and I found Scarlett. " then why try" I said and Chris spoke " because it's 12  and we leave in 1 hour." And I shot up. " what!" And he laughed. And Scarlett shot him a glare " rhisey its 9 and and we leave in 5, you're dad thinks he's funny." And I flopped back down. " glad I didn't get his humour" and he lightly slapped my shoulder " hey I'm funnier then you're mother" and I sighed " yes you are" and Scarlett just pouted. And then I felt someone jump onto my bed " frogger wakey wakey" he was jumping on my bed. " if you wanna keep you're ability to walk I suggest you stop" with a glare. Chris and Harry both gulped but Scarlett was smiling. Ufff she thinks I look cute angry. I rolled out of bed and pushed them all out of my room. This is it. I got changed into my outfit for the day. Scarlett said it's be hot in New York. But we were landing in the evening around 6.

I went downstairs and Chris tossed me an apple before Scarlett said anything. " you know I feel like I'm being outnumbered here" she said and Chris laughed. " that's because you are" she just rolled her eyes.

I heard the door bell and Harry and me ran to the door. I wasn't expecting what I saw. It was soph, Isaac, Peter, and aunt Maria. I didn't think we'd see them till later. We all went into the living room. Scarlett and Chris made breakfast for everyone and we ate. Well I just watched. I had this nervous feeling in my stomach. I couldn't eat. We just talked for ages.

And then it was time. I could tell because Chris had got a call and whispered to Scarlett she looked at us and frowned. I felt tears in my eyes. I didn't want to go not when I was leaving my family behind. Then I heard a car horn from outside. And then the tears started flowing. I saw Harry was tearing up too. " I'll go put the suitcases in the car" Chris said. I didn't even look at him I was holding onto Isaac and Peter. " I don't wanna go" I cried and they both cried with me " we know but you have too. We will call everyday and we're going to come visit soon." And then I pulled away I felt Peter wipe my tears. I looked over at aunt Maria and she was also crying " come here" and I ran into her arms " be good for you're mum okay I know it's not gonna be easy, but we all love you" I just nodded. And then I went over to Sophia who was crying " I always said you kids would be the death of me" she gave a watery chuckle. " I'll see you soon, it's not the end." And I just nodded I couldn't speak. I pulled back and Harry was a mess. Scarlett looked like she had a few tears aswell. " we're all ready to go" Scarlett picked up our back packs for us and took them to the car. Soph and I were still holding each other as we walked out. And then Harry grabbed my hand and took me to the car. I couldn't get in. I didn't want to go. I ran back to Peter and Isaac and just held onto them. The three of us were sobbing. " bubs we gotta go" I looked up at Chris and he had that look like he didn't want to be saying this. Scarlett was holding Harry in her arms. She looked like she didn't want too be doing this either. But they were. " I love you two . Forever and always." And they put our foreheads together " forever and always, we love you too. Go give them hell" and I smiled and walked backwards. Chris just put his arm around me. Scarlett tried to say something to me but I couldn't look at her or I was going to cry again and we'd never leave. But I felt Harry grab my hand. " us against the world remember" with a small smile. " us against the world" I whispered. He kissed my cheek and I turned and gave a sad smile to everyone and waved goodbye. I got into the back seat of the car. So did Harry. Chris and Scarlett were in the middle row. And the driver at the front. We had two cars. The other one was smaller but had all of our bags. This was getting too real but at the same time it didn't feel like it was happening. The back windows were all tinted. And chris and Scarlett had there sunglasses on. The only way someone could see into the car was from the front. And we were covered because we were right at the back.I just laid my head on Harry's shoulder and let my tears roll down my faces I knew he was doing the same. Scarlett wasn't even looking at us. But Chris was giving us a a small smile.
