When bubs phoned me I was in the car with Lizzie. She had picked me up from the airport. I knew something was wrong with her but she wasn't going to say so I just agreed to come get them both.
Rhislett's POV
When we got home I was so excited to see the one thing I was here for. Dodger. He ran at us and he basically ignored everyone else and ran and tackled me. I was giggling on the floor because all I could see was his face in mine licking me. I somehow sat up and dodger backed up slightly. I just kept petting him. The dog was definitely making everything feel better. I was feeling like absolute shit before. Feeling like no one loves you isn't the best but when the cutest dog you've ever seen is licking you're face that feeling fades. " hey! Dodger I'm here too buddy" Chris yelled and dodger turned to look at him but I guess he saw Harry and went over to be pet by him. Chris muttered " traitor" and I laughed while getting up. Lizzie had her phone so I knew she had recorded it but I didn't mind.
Lizzie's POV
I couldn't help but record and then I felt like needed to send it to Scarlett. I don't know what's going on with her. But what I saw before was not the Scarlett I knew. She was giving the girl she had spent over a decade crying about a glare for something so foolish. I don't know what's gotten into her but I don't want her to think I'm telling her how to parent either. Rhislett's upset about it and after what she told me how she was feeling now I know why she feels like that. I just hope that what Robbie and Robert have arranged for her while we're in LA might cheer her up.
Rhislett's POV
The rest of our day was spent the same with Chris. The three of us attempted to cook but it was me who did the most Friday had come and I knew I was cooking for the whole of Scarlett's family today and Chris was coming too. I asked to be dropped off at matka's house early morning. I had gone with Chris to the nearest Asian supermarket so I could get everything I needed. I got to matka's at 11am and she opened the door smiling. " you're early little bear." And I laughed while bringing bags in with Chris " well I'm cooking a lot and Some of it needs time to cook" and she smiled nodding. Chris put all the bags down in the kitchen and greeted matka properly. " okay bubs I'll be back later at 3 with you're brother if you need me call me okay" and I nodded while he gave me a kiss on the forehead. I saw matka smiling wide at me. Chris then excused himself and left. " so you and you're father are getting along I see" and I smiled. I tied a scarf around my head like a bandana and spoke " okay matka I say this in the most loving way I don't want to see you till I'm done or if there's a fire" and she pouted " I wanted to help you can't seriously think I'm going to let you cook for 15 people on you're own?" And I nodded " yes you are that's why I'm early. Now pleaseee go rest or whatever while I start." She sighed and left thank god. I had other clothes in my bag but right now I was in this.
