Chase Hudson Is Trouble

Sorry 🥲.

It's barely unbelievable for me to think about this now . But living without chase became something i'm absolutely terrified of.

When i go back in time where we first met i'll probably spit on the face of anybody who says that i'll fall in love with him. But now look at me ;

"Hey ester the hearing is about to start" my mom said excitedly. We were currently in the court house waiting for my father's hearing.

Mom keep saying that the witness and the new clues which were found could save my father from behind the brick walls.

It's been 4 years.
Since my father went to jail

It's been 4 years
Since chase put me in his radar.

"Mom" i asked "do you really think my father is innocent?" I looked her in the eyes searching for a glimpse of doubt.

"I know your father is innocent ester " she said while she hugs me "and this lady knew it too and she's gonna help us save him and bring back his innocence"

"Who?" I asked "i mean the lady?"
I didn't know who's this woman mom keep talking about .

"She's a woman just like us ester" she looked away as if she's searching for the perfect words to say. " she just needed time to realise what actually happened and way more searching to believe it." Mom smiled and looked towards the door like she's waiting for an angel to walk inside. "She's strong and we should be too .. for your father"

I nodded and sat down next to her for a little bit of waiting and alot of thinking. What would've been chase's reaction if he was here right now. Will he believe it just like us . Will he believe in my father's innocence. Or he'll make a fuss about it.

He'll probably make a fuss about it. It's hard to live in years of suffer and agony about your lost sister and learn to move on and live peacefully and then suddenly the same story resurface and you realize that you've been living in a big mess.

An attorney came to us and announced his present with clearing his throat. We looked up to him and he nodded towards the door and said " the witness has arrived and the hearing is about to start we should go inside now". I stood up and linked my hand to my mother and as we entered the court room i cought a glimpse of a face i never thought i'll see.

"Fuck" i whispered "this is bad".

The court room was full to the brim with  close relatives , friends and of course journalists.  The story spread down the whole neighbourhood and everybody who knew my father were here to support or simply to know the truth.

The hearing started with the judge hitting the table with his hammer (or  whatever) my father sat on the opposite table from the judge. His lawyer was by his side waiting for the permission to speak.

The lawyer started giving a summary for the case and kept talking the possibility of my father being innocent. It was until the witness was called that everything turned upside down.

"Can i call miss Milany hudson to the stand" her name alone shook all of my being. How the hell chase's mother is the one who gonna witness my father's innocence.

The woman with blond hair and sharp features stood strong and walked to the stand. She looked at my father for a while i thought hours has passed before she spoke.

"My name is milany hudson and i'm the mother of the victim." She looked down stopping herself from crying. "Mr park was held captive in the prison because everyone thought he killed my daughter when he started the fire at our house." She looked again at my father and she said "this men is innocent and he was telling the truth all this time . That night he was indeed trying to save my daughter from the fire" she swolled

"the fire that she started herself".

Everyone was silent. I looked at my mother with wide eyes. What did she say?
