Chase Hudson Is Trouble

the next few days passed so quick. i went to college everyday, hang out with Johnny, i sometimes meet the boys in school but we are awkward. chase and i aren't really speaking since that day and Atticus and benkro are too shy to talk to me . and noen is just noen but he's friends with benkro so probably he told him about me coughing them doing the nasty. and leela is just leela we meet at home and talk and sometimes just hangout in the coffee shop or eat outside .

that's how the week ended and now it's Friday. i made a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa next to the window with my copy of jane eyer. i lazyed out on it for a week now and i have to start reading to catch up on homework. the apartment is pretty quiet. chase is still sleeping because of his night out yesterday with Atticus and the later is out hanging out with leela because she's going home for the weekend.

i was almost 60 pages in when chase came out of his room struggling to walk straight . he was wearing only a sweatpants with no shirt on . typical chase hudson. he looked at me and mumbled a grumpy good morning. well that's a step forward because he didn't speek to me since that day in the icecream shop. he went straight to kitchen and i actually heard a giggle when he found out i brewed a fresh coffee pot. few seconds and he's sprawled on the sofa next to me enjoying his morning heaven. he looks peaceful, i wish he's always like that but i get to see the kind version of chase when he's drinking his coffee only. i looked back to my book and continued reading.

few pages in when chase cut me off. "Atticus not home?" he asked looking back at his door and then back to me . those eyes.

"he's out with leela" i answered and looked back to my book.

"so we're alone huh??" he smiled mischievously.

"hell chase" i choked on my coffee "what does that even mean" i rolled my eyes on him.

"come here" he patted the empty space by his side.

to be Frank i was suspicious. what kind of games he's about to play. so i ignored him and went back reading.

"don't be like this" he said standing up

"the fuck is wrong with you chase" i sighed "you've been mean to me for a week now and now you trying to befriend me or what" i threw my book into the coffee table

he stepped forward towards me and looked down on me. i looked up to meet his eyes questionably . he then lowered himself and cough me with his hand. and drugged me towards the sofa. i fighted him while giggling and he held me tight . he sat on the couch and dragged me down with him. i landed on his lap and my giggles stoped. the hell i'm doing ?? i asked myself . what the hell are doing ester. i freezed and he too stopped moving. and then he surprised me with wrapping his hand around me softly. not like the way he used to do but like hug or a cuddle and i didn't know what to do.

"i'm sorry " he suddenly declared "i'm sorry about the icecream. that day i came home late and i found the icecream melted on top of the kitchen counter" he finished while hugging me from behind .

"you're sorry about the icecream chase?" i rolled my eyes . this dude is wierd i said to my self . with all the shit he did to me in my years of high school and he's only sorry because of the icecream. i slipped down from his lap to the corner of the couch next to him. i wrapped myself into a ball with my cup of coffee and my book which i retrieved from the coffee table . i smiled at him and said "that's okay we'll get another chance to buy icecream" i internally was grateful for the kind cozy feeling chase gave me and i didn't mind sitting by his side while he plays with his phone but then i remembered why did we even went to buy icecream i mean Atticus and benkro so i asked him.

"what's with Atticus and benkro" i said putting my book down "i didn't know Atticus was gay nor benkro"

"Atticus is bi" chase said putting down his phone and giving me his full attention "benkro is confused" he ushered with his hands in the air to emphasize his words "they were kinda on and off last year . that's what Atticus told me. did you know noen and benkro used to live in our rooms??" he asked and i shook my head no. "they used to live here until leela came and Atticus was really interested in her , benkro felt the need to leave and we're here" he finished.
