The days at the hospital were almost over for Taehyung. When he had his stitches removed after a fortnight under both police and doctors surveillance he was allowed to go home. And it caught him off guard when he thought of Jungkook's apartment at the Gangnam skyrise as home rather than his own little studio in Seondong-gu district.

So when he came back from a last ultrasound appointment he was surprised to see Soo-Hee packing the few items he had in his cupboard. The nurse who had wheeled him between the wards greeted Soo-Hee and told her to call her once they were ready to leave.

"Will they be throwing you a party or why did she insist on calling her?" Soo-Hee inquired and Taehyung grimaced.

"Nope, they want to make sure I'll leave the hospital unscathed, for insurance reasons."

"I always thought that was a myth," Soo-Hee replied with glee.

"No, if something happens to me within hospital grounds while I am still a patient, they have to pay... hence the wheel chair," Tae said and grabbed the clothes Soo-Hee had brought him from home. "Speaking of which, I'll need to pay downstairs. I don't know if the hospital is still my employer or if they kept paying into my medical insurance, so I might need your help."

"Don't worry, we will get your bills paid, Taehyung-ie," Soo-Hee smiled at him.

They had talked about this before - the immediate and distant future. He did not know if he was still an intern at the hospital or not. The passed two days he had tried to talk to HR but they had obviously stalled, especially after Kim Taeyeon and Oh Yoon-Shik were officially investigated due to the little chit-chats between Inspector Oh and him. The doctors' connection to the Jeon mafia was too obvious to ignore especially after the police had matched up homicides with missing internal organs with Kim Taeyeon's transplant list.

HR was still not sure how to proceed as the scandal was substantial. Taehyung felt like he was the living reminder of it and the hospital seemed to be weary of him.

The young doctor watched himself in the mirror of the small bathroom as he pulled on his own clothes again. Soo-Hee had chosen soft jeans and a white long shirt and old converse shoes. His clothes felt like a hug to him, the fabric of the clothes were so soft from its constant use. Yet, he felt like an impostor, that these clothes were accoutrements of an entirely different life.

After a last look in the mirror, Taehyung left the bathroom. He watched Soo-Hee who stood by the window and talked on her cell phone. She smiled when she saw him and winked as she said good bye to whoever she was talking to.

"Myung-Ok says hi," she said and Tae grinned. He was so happy for his best friend and her new girl-friend. "Come on, Tae-ah. Let's get out of here."

Despite the reminder of the nurse, they walked. They took the lifts down to the reception hall and walked up to the counter where they had to pay for the hospital bill.

"I'm sorry, Kim Taehyung-ssi, but your bill has already been aid by your medical insurance," the clerk explained to Taehyung. "Black Moon Insurance covered all bills."
