Liam Hunt's POV
Damn it, Mia! After what we have been through before, you still betrayed me, in the end, to be in that stupid organization.
"Yes, I need to, Liam, even though I don't want to," was the last thing that I remembered she said to me before darkness took over me. I felt like my body was heavy and I did not know what happened to me after that.
"Ugh," I grunted as I tried to open my eyes. It hurt like hell.
"Damn it," I whispered as my head was spinning like crazy. Now I know how it felt to be tied up and tortured, even though myself has been captured many times.
"Finally, Romeo has awake. I thought it might take a little while after the sedative that we gave to you," a voice was filling my eardrum and it was not familiar at all. I was trying to figure out who was speaking to me but the first thing that I saw was Mia's slate orbs that I have come to love.
"Well, aren't you a charmer? Only looking at the beautiful woman, huh?" The same voice was playing around my head as I was trying to locate the source.
"Who the hell are you? And why are you inside my head?" I screamed which made Mia budge in her seat. She woke up after I was screaming.
"Yes, that's right. You're crazy. You don't deserve her at all," the voice continues to tell me over and over again.
"Who the fuck are you?" I was losing my patience as Mia was trying to calm me down.
"Liam, Liam, calm down. It was the effect of the bioweapon," she said as I can barely hear what she was saying.
"Get off me. Show yourself, you coward!" I screamed into the empty room as there was no one else except for Mia. She was trying to calm me but I keep hearing those voices and her voice was dying compared to those little suckers.
"Ah! Great, now we know it is working just fine," someone that has the same voice as the ones that I have been hearing, came into the view as he was walking through the door. He has the same slate eyes but blond hair.
"Who the fuck are you?" I asked him as he was sitting right in front of me. He was smirking evilly before turning his head to whisper into my ear.
"I'm your worst nightmare," he whispered before he clapped his hands and went to Mia.
"Now that you have proven your loyalty to us by giving Liam Hunt that was investigating the death of his father," he said as he looked at me briefly as the old man was talking to Mia, my betrayer.
"I shall award you to sit at the big boy's table. You have deserved it, Mija," the man said as he put his hand on Mia's shoulder. The blood was boiling in my head as I cannot imagine Mia with someone else besides me.
"Get your fucking hand off her, you sick fuck," I spat at him. The mysterious guy turned to look at me, amused at my outburst.
"Wow, Mia, you nailed this one. He can't even stand me, your uncle. Anyway, don't get carried away," he said as he was pointing a finger at Mia.
"Yes, Uncle," she said as she bowed to him. He nodded at Mia before getting off to the door.
"Remember your root, Mia," he said before looking at me as he was smiling wickedly.
"But don't forget to have fun as well," was the last thing he said before he closed the door that left me with Mia.
"Mia? Mia! What did he mean by that?" I asked as I looked at Mia. She was closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. I can't understand what she was doing before she opened her eyes. She looked at me like I was prey to her, nothing more, nothing less.
