Mia Duncan's POV
"Okay, since you want to get back to Scotland, I think it is best to stick to the old identity, Mia Duncan," Valentino said as he was typing into the computer as was trying to get me a new passport and identity as well as my one-way ticket to the country.
"No, the old identity got her into trouble. We need to get something new so that the Interpol and local police will get off from Mia," Sabrina said as she was looking at the computer beside Valentino.
"What do you suggest, emo girl?" Val said as Sabrina was looking at him seriously.
"A fresh new start and a clean slate, dimwit. We need to give her a new identity," Sabrina said.
"Yeah, I know. What is the new name for her?" Val said as he was typing away into the system.
"Hmm, I don't know. How about Anna?" Sabrina said.
"Too common," Val replied
"Valerie?" Sabby said.
"Eh, not good enough," Valentino said as he was typing away.
"We have to make sure that the name would be suited for Mia like 'Mia'" Valentino said as he typed to google a perfect name for me.
"Lyana?"
"No."
"Catherine?"
"No,"
"Fiona?"
"No,"
"What about Damia?" I asked as we have been getting at the names for 30 minutes now. Sabrina and Valentino looked at each other as if I have gone mad about my new name.
"Damia? Mia. That could be Damian, and unfortunately, it was a guy's name," Sabrina said as Valentino nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, you could disguise yourself as a guy and go out to marry the Chief of Interpol in Scotland," Valentino said as he attempted to make it a joke. I turned at them sharply before smiling wickedly.
"Funny, huh?" I asked before getting behind Valentino and smacking his head.
"Damia, it is," he said as his head was beating furiously after my hit.
"Yup, that name sounds good to me," Sabrina agreed with him as he typed away in the computer and booked my flight to Scotland.
"You know what, I will change it back to Mia after my wedding," I said that making them look at me, their mouths open wide.
Oh, how I was going to miss these guys. Eh, not really.
Anastasia Honchar's POV
I was looking at the person that I have been spending my intimate time with him. I know that Marco Conti was a bad person but I never thought that I would have to be the bad guy in this situation when all I ever wanted for both of us was... to love each other. To think that I would have my last time together with him after Mr. Burgess' case was closed.
Perhaps I am the one that you've been looking for, Marco, I thought as I was caressing his cheek as he was sleeping next to me. I knew that I have to do something about the fact that we have a past that needed to be cleaned from his memory.
If I wanted to start a clean slate in my life, away from this... madness that I was involved in a terrorist organization that Mia managed to disband last month. I sighed as I was looking at his naked back which was red from my claws.
I smiled before I was slipping the memory cleanser into Marco's glass as he stirred and turned to look at me. His green eyes were shining before he was pulling me to straddle his thighs. I can feel his eagerness as he was caressing my side.
