Rize's gentle gaze swiftly fell from her face. "This is about one of your maids" Rize moved and sat down in Hayami's chair "I was walking outside last night and heard something that a maid shouldn't be saying, maybe a tyrant would suit it better" Rize squinted her eyes. "I've raised most of these maids since they were children, there's no way one would be a tyrant"

"She was ginger, and with a knight" Rize's eyes widened "I've seen she's close with the princess, so that's what alarms me" the woman furrowed her brows "Rika's been put on duty of delivering, and caring for the king" she muttered, Shoto didn't react to her words "She's not going for the king, she's going for the princess" he sat on the chair opposite her "She wants the princess to resign, she was talking to the head knight, saying that those two should run away together" Rize sighed "He's still trying to get rid of his own daughter" and then stood up "Thank you for informing me of this information, I'll keep an eye on her" Shoto looked up at her "I need to understand what the king's plan is" she muttered, opening the door for him.

A cloaked girl departed a carriage and stepped towards a building holding a wicca basket in front of her. A guard opened the door for her when his gaze met hers, and she stepped in. Her heels were all that could be heard clicking through the mansion's corridors, knocking in a rhythm on the door. It opened and the servant's eyes widened, nodding before stepping out and letting her be alone in the room. She finally took off her hood, long fiery hair sprawling across her shoulders. "Ah, my dear, it's you" she smiled moving towards the man lying in bed. His arms wrapped around hers hugging him "Hello your highness, how are you feeling today?" He sat up slightly his breath was wheezing, and he shrugged "Could be better"

"I failed to convince my brother" she muttered, and the king sighed and held out his hands accepting her basket. "You have plenty of time to get her out of the kingdom before the wedding, I got the kingdom and that opportunity of fuel, but I will not let that mistake ruin it" The girl nodded

"I agree your highness, she's not worthy to marry the king" the king smiled and reached out patting her hair "You are very smart and loyal, I wish that you were my daughter, if you were maybe my wife would be alive till today" the girl leaned into his caress. "I believe you can get her out of the palace, whether she fakes her death, or she actually dies" the girl smiled

"I won't let you down"

A horse neighed, tapping its hoof down repeatedly. Hayami was stroking the horse "So beautiful" She muttered, Dabi stepped towards her

"Please tell me that all the horses here aren't all white too" Hayami chuckled and shook her head, "I've never seen a full black on before though" She answered smiling. Dabi observed her gaze "Do you love it?" he questioned, and she moved her gaze up to him "That look on your face, you get it all the time but when you look at me" Her eyes widened as she fully turned to face him. "Marriages are meant for people who are in love right?" Hayami's cheeks flushed, and she nodded. "You don't look at me like that" She widened her eyes in a panic looking between dabi and a horse "Well" she stuttered "You see!" she looked back up at him "It's a different type of love when I look at things I enjoy"

"You don't enjoy my face?" He leaned in, Hayami's eyes widened more as she shook her head "N-no I do, it's very handsome!" She cried

"Your highness" A sharp male voice called out, King Dabi sighed and turned his gaze away "Stop teasing the princess" Hayami let out a thankful sigh. Shoto stepped into the carriage, and Dabi stepped in behind him. "Dabi wait!" He looked out the open door, Hayami scrunched up her fists "I promise, I'll do my all to make you fall in love with me" the carriage began to move as she spoke. Picking up her skirts she followed "This is my declaration of war" she called, suddenly she found herself running. Dabi continued to watch her, something flickering in his eyes, her veil lifted from her face and flew behind her to the floor. His eyes widened as he stared at her face "This is a declaration not as the princess, but as your fiancé!" she finished running and was panting as he shut the door. "What a fool, why would a princess chase a carriage" Shoto muttered, Dabi didn't answer he sat back in his seat trying to contain the smile that was wishing to spread across his lips.

Hayami huffed out a breath, smiling before she turned around. Her gaze moved to her veil laying on the ground, her eyes widened as she scrambled to pick it up. Holding it to her chest, she let out a loud sigh and began to step back. "Are you crazy!" Rize shouted running towards the princess "Running after a carriage, shouting nonsense?!" She grabbed her ear and dragged her back into the palace, "I raised you better than this" scolding her the whole way back.

After a couple days, a carriage was rolling through the streets only to stop outside of some gates. A woman stepped out and her gaze looked down at the path below her, then she moved her gaze up "Shoto" She smiled, and the advisor sighed. "Princess, it's been too long" the princess smiled, his eyes squinted in a smile. He turned "The king has had some information come through which means that he's busy with work, which is why his handsome face isn't greeting you" Hayami's cheeks flushed at his teasing words.

"You've gotten quite bold now Rize isn't around" she noted. Finally, being shown to her guest room her eyes filled with stars, it was so fancy. Her bedding was white and that was the only white in the room. Stepping in her eyes grazed the dark walls, they had crosses on, circles in the middle, they shone in the bright light of the window behind her bed. "That's quite a big window" She muttered, a maid looked up at her who was stood behind her to take her items inside, she looked towards the window. "Do the curtains get closed when I dress?" the maid flinched as she turned to look at her, her hands fell in front of her, and she looked down. "Do you not like to talk?" Hayami questioned in a soft voice

"We're not permitted to communicate with higher ups"

"Not permitted?" She muttered "You should see my kingdom, my maids are like my sisters" The princess smiled and then moved closer to the maid grabbing her hands "I'm Hayami, what's your name?"

"Fuyumi" She muttered, ever so quietly

"Well, Fuyumi I'll let you communicate as long as no one is watching" Fuyumi gasped her gaze moving up, the princess smiled and winked. "Your face" The maid muttered softly, and the princesses smile vanished as she pulled her veil over to cover it. "I mean no! I just meant I know a person who would tell stories about your beauty" She quickly cut in, Hayami moved to stare at the girl in surprise "I just thought they were make believe, he was a child at the time" Hayami smiled, and then moved to sit on the bed. "The king order that your bed sheets were white" she muttered "We didn't manage to change the rest of the room on such short notice"

"Change it?" Hayami muttered her gaze moving around the room "I like it, it's different" her gaze moved to a curtain "I like change" she stood up and stepped towards it. "That's his highnesses room" Hayami's eyes widened as she pulled the curtain aside, his room was grand. Its walls were black and the room was decorated with silver accents. Hayami found herself stepping into the room. "Your highness!" The maid called, in a panic. She continued looking around the room, pulling the veil up from over her eyes, a voice shook her attention. Fuyumi noticed it too, her gaze was on the door. She moved it back to the princess, quickly she ran into the room that was deemed to be hers. The maid clutched a hand over her mouth and Hayami found herself doing the same, footsteps were all that could be heard over their fast heart beats.

Dabi stepped into his room, his gaze quickly landed on the white veil that laid on the floor. His gaze automatically switching to the curtain still moving from the women who ran back inside, he stepped towards it. "Dabi" A voice moved his attention away, he turned "The knights said that the swords are blunt, if we are to battle, they'll need swords" he sighed

"Couldn't this all wait" He muttered stepping away, picking up the veil from the floor and resting it over a back of a chair. "Hayami went out of her way to visit me, I'd like to see her at least once this week" he then stepped out of the room "Yeah, and I wished I was the one in line for the throne, not your advisor" the door closed.

Notifying the girls, they had left. Hayami's eyes then moved to Fuyumi and hers to hers, slowly they removed their hands from each-other's mouths. Suddenly a look clouded both of their faces, Hayami bit her lip trying to contain it. Neither of them could they both burst out laughing "Why did we cover each-other's mouths" Hayami managed to say between her giggles, Fuyumi fell to sit on the bed "Why didn't I let you in the room when your fiancé was their" Fuyumi replied between her laughing. The pair stopped looking at each other only to burst out laughing again.
