After they had gotten Jason down off the roof, everyone had gathered around the living room. Dick had to come clean about what he had done in that church, about what had really happened when Jericho and Jaime had died. He owed it to all of them to look past this secret that he had been carrying around with him for three years. The reason why Deathstroke was coming after them so ferociously now.
Dick looked to Ellie for support, and she nodded back to the man. He needs to do this on his own.
"I lied to you all" Dick tells the room. "I didn't tell those of you who are new what really happened three years ago" Dick tells Jason, Kory, Rachel and Gar. "And to everyone else I told you a lie about what really happened with Jaime and Jericho that night in the church" Dick tells Isabella, Donna, Hank and Dawn.
Isabella closes her eyes and she can see that night so vividly.
Dick came charging into the Titans Tower with the crumpled and broke body of Jaime Reyes in his arms. "Help!" Dick called to anyone who would listen. He could barely walk after the beating he had taken from Deathstroke, even with the Robin suit on he had almost died.
Hank and Dawn came running to help Dick. "Oh my god" Dawn gasped. Hank helped Dick get Jaime over to the couch.
Jaime's Blue Beetle armour was lifeless and it's light was flickering out slowly. It was trying to save Jaime's body from the large open sword wound he had in his chest.
"Dick, what the fuck happened?" Hank questioned Robin. Dick had snuck off on his own to confront Deathstroke and it had not ended well.
"I...Deathstroke... he..." Dick pointed at the sword wound to Jaime's chest. Dawn pressed a towel to the wound but the blood was already soaking through the towel.
Donna and Isabella came into the living room to see what was going on. Donna had already been patched up from her fight with Deathstroke where she had lost. And Isabella face was red raw from the crying, she and Jaime had argued earlier in the day, he had stormed off and Isabella hadn't been able to contact him.
"Dick?" Donna noticed that Dick was covered in blood, and he was badly beaten.
The both Donna and Isabella noticed that Jaime was dying on the couch. Dawn was up to her elbows in Jaime's blood, she couldn't stop the wound, and the Beetle armour was lifeless, and that could only mean that Jaime was dead.
"No" Isabella said breathlessly. She tried to rush forward to get to Jaime but Donna pulled her into a hug with her one good arm.
