Ellie was up and moving the following morning. Her head was heavy with a headache. And her movements were sluggish. Ellie hadn't felt like she had been unconscious the entire night, she remembered dreaming about her and Dick and the key moments of their friendship. Which she found odd.

Alexis left early in the dark hours of the morning to go and get some sleep. Alfred offered to let him stay at the Manor but he felt like he needed to return home to fill Jordan in on the situation.

Alfred was using Wayne Enterprises to mass produce the antidote but it was taking a longer time to do it on a mass scale.

Ellie just felt thankful that school had decided to close thanks to the epidemic. Most of the kids at Gotham Academy lived in the financial district. Ellie couldn't afford many more absences for her night job.

Alfred and Ellie were alone down in the Batcave.

Ellie was running through a train simulation. She needed to get back to full strength for her next encounter with Copperhead.

Alfred could see that something was up with Ellie. He could see in the way that she was fighting aggressively against the simulation holograms.

Ellie was putting rage into her punches as she knocked the holograms down.

Once Ellie had finished her simulation she compared her results to her last training session. "A little slower than my last round but pretty good considering I was on death's doorstep a few hours ago" Ellie thought she was doing pretty well. She still felt the pull of her cut marks from Copperhead's claws. They weren't too deep.

"Yes" Alfred said. "I still think that it would be prudent to exercise caution" Alfred watched Ellie carefully. There was a reason that Ellie was training so hard, why she was so eager to face Copperhead again.

"Alfred this woman has beaten me twice, as soon as she gets her poison into my system my muscles turn to lead and I can't fight as well" Ellie remembers the feeling of not being able to fight at full strength.

"Luke informs me that shouldn't happen the next time. He told you that as well" Alfred told Ellie. Ellie kept her gaze on the floor and a stubborn look on her face. "What's really going on Ellie? What aren't you telling me?" Alfred knew the girl too well to not see when Ellie was in conflict.

Ellie sighed and took a seat at the Batcomputer. "You're right. It's not just the muscle weakness and fatigue. It's the hallucinations that I see, and that could still happen if Copperhead hits me again" Ellie informed Alfred.
