"Stop crying, would you" he said holding your face with both his hands.

"I know, I'm sorry" you sniffed

You and Levi stood in front of your door as he wiped the tears that dripped out of your eyes with his thumbs. It seems like your tears were never ending.

You've never felt so guilty in your life. The whole not knowing wether to be mad at him for what he did or be sorry for your doing was solved as you now felt the heavy burden of guilt, understanding the great pain he had cursed you with that day.

You felt Levi's hands slip away from your face as you rubbed your own eyes. He let out a faint ghost smile as he watch you sniff up your sadness.

"There you go, see we can't let them see the two hard heads being soft now can we?"

You let out a small smile as you nodded your head at him. You turned towards your door and held onto the doorknob ready to turn it, but stopped mid way. You bit your lip, staring at the dark oak door.

"will-"

"I won't " he responded

He knew too well your thoughts.

You felt yourself smiling at the door in front of you.

"Thank you" you replied still not facing him.

"Good Night Cadet"

You heard as his feet came alive, walking away from you. With that you entered your room, enjoying a restful night.

---

"The Expedition"  he answered.

"Already?!"

"Well how much longer do you want us to be here Y/N?!" Reiner replied.

"I don't know, I just didn't expect us to take action on the first one. Do you think it's a good idea?"

"We have to Y/N, Annie's really homesick" Bertholdt said as he sat staring at the letter Annie had wrote back.

"We are all homesick" corrected Reiner as he shot Bertholdt a glare.

Bertholdt didn't even bat an eye back at Reiner as he was too busy awing over Annie's hand craftsmanship of writing. You knew whatever Annie said, Bertholdt would follow it without even thinking about it. Irritated that Bertholdt didn't even reply to his response, he walked over to him and yanked the letter from him.

"Alright well, to play it safe we won't be transforming. Only interference we'll have with her is signaling and guiding her towards Eren. We can't risk getting caught of slaughtering someone"

You nodded your head, agreeing.

"Where will she hide in the forest? Won't she get caught if they spot her military police jacket?"

Bertholdt shot his head up, as if he finally left the Annie trance he was in. He began to tap his finger on his knee as he began to think. There was no way he was going to allow that to happen to her.

"We'll just have to steal a Survey Corps uniform" he said staring off.

"Oh and who's?" said Reiner.

"I don't know. I'm sure.."

he turned to you, a friendly smile that almost looked too real sprouted out.

"Y/N is smart enough to figure it out"

what the fuck.

"Umm, I don't think I can-"
