Pixis or Smith?

You stood next to Erwin, as you stood amazed by how powerful Levi was.

But you already knew that. It was more of a reminder.

You watched as he laid a good beating on Eren who was chained to a pole in the center of the room. You saw as Mikasa tried to lunge forward trying to get to Levi, but Armin held her back, making you smirk.

A squeeze to your hand made you look away as it caught your attention. You looked down to see Erwin squeezing your hand.

"I hope he's not scaring you Y/N" he whispered.

You smiled as you squeezed his back. He really was something.

"Not at all Commander, but if you're scared I'm more than happy to continue holding you hand" 

Erwin looked away from the scene to look at you for a second, surprised by your response.

"My, What a flirt miss Y/N"

You shrugged your shoulders at him before you turned your attention back to the bloody scene in front of you. You watched as a tooth flew near by you.

"Who said I was flirting? Simply just offering some support" you whispered to him.

A smile appeared on his face as his squeezed your hand tighter before he let go.

"Funny girl" he quietly chuckled.

You bit your bottom lip to prevent your smile from growing even wider. He was surprisingly an easy person to flirt with, but the the thought of him being the Commander quickly over took your mind as your smile disappeared, leaving a straight lip in its place.

I have to be careful with this one. 

You looked back at Levi.

That one too.

I'm playing a dangerous game.

You began to stretch your limbs as you began to walk down the steps of the court. Your witness report along with Erwin's speech and Levi's little performance was convincing enough to allow Eren to stay under the Survey Corp's hand.

You leaned on the carriage as you waited for the driver and both Armin and Mikasa to arrive.

"Y/N"

You turned around to see Erwin walking towards you, hands in his pockets. Now standing in front of you, he held out his hand out to you once again.

"Thank you for that" he said.

You took his hand once more, enjoying the feeling of it.

"Sure, My pleasure Commander"

You were first to pull away from his hand. He glanced down at his hand before he moved his fingers around as he went into thought.

"Say, have you decide what regiment you've decided to embark on?" he asked you.

A sly smirk played your lips, you just couldn't help but flirt with the man. He fell too easily in flirtatious situations. 

"Why? can't get enough of me? You want me to join you?"  you teased.

Erwin opened his mouth to speak, but quickly closed it rethinking his answer. 

"If that's the way you take it, then yes"

You felt yourself choke on air not expecting that kind of response from him. You felt Erwin pat your back trying to help you out as he let out a chuckle.

"Breathe Y/N, seems like you can't handle your own heat" he teased back.

Your brows furrowed as you looked at him. You pushed his hand away from you.

"Yes, I can. I'll have you know, that  I will actually be joining the Survey Corps, but for different reasons" you huffed.

He sent you a smile as he placed his hands up, "Yes, I'm sure you have terrific other reasons for choosing to join the Survey Corps"

"I do!" you retorted.

"I believe you" he said sarcastically

You squinted your eyes at him.

"Are you sure you're a Commander, you sure don't act like one"

"And are you sure you're a proper cadet. Cause you don't act like one either. Where's my respect?"

OOP.

You felt yourself turn red for the first time. You placed your hands on your cheeks trying to cover any signs of redness that might shine through. Erwin's lips curled up in amusement as he saw your facial response come alive, he was finally able to break that bold persona of yours.

"Not so tough are we now" he laughed.

"Tch. Shut up, you're not my Commander yet" you snapped at him.

Yet. 

Now that pleased Erwin. As much as he found you interesting, he was fully invested in having you join the Survey Corps after viewing your scores, learning you were the one to cut out Eren during his rebel titan form and hearing from Levi's point of view of how "decent" you were at your job. 

And to those who didn't know. "Decent" in Levi's vocabulary meant Good.

"Oh, so you're for reals about the Survey Corps?" he asked

You looked at him. His eyes were easily readable as you can catch a swirl full of hope that  you were actually being serious about the Survey Corps.

"I don't know, Commander Pixis is sounding pretty good right now" you said folding your arms.

And there you again, with your little remarks.

"Invested in high powered men I see. How interesting miss Y/N" he mused

You finally saw Armin and Mikasa along with the driver starting to head your direction. You looked back at Erwin sending him a smug look. You turned around and started getting into the carriage.

"Maybe I am, Maybe I'm not. I guess we'll just see which Commander I choose"

You turned to look at him through the window.

"Then I'll have my fingers crossed that you choose me, till then I'll wait your arrival"

"Sure, if I arrive" 

He smiled as he shook his head.

"You'll be an interesting one to watch"

He turned around and headed back inside the building throwing you a hand out in the air.

"I'll see you next week Cadet L/N"

You smirked at him.

Sure you will.
