A Paranoid Hallucination

"Why did it take you this long to remind me Berner?!"

"I was distracted too! Don't pin the blame on me Zoe!"

They both sent each other glares as they were preparing a plate of food for Eren. Hange let out a sigh as she continued cutting up some tomatoes. The whole cabin's kitchen fell silent. 

"Thank the walls for Lev's squad huh"  she suddenly said, trying to lighten the mood.

She never meant to argue with Moblit. It was just the stress that she had forgotten all about Eren speaking. And Moblit always having a soft spot for his beloved Captain, let out a snort along with a small smile.

"Yeah"

He heard as Hange suddenly turned around, forgetting all about the tomatoes. She leaned on the counter as she crossed her arms, letting out a huge grin.

"Crazy how you forgot about him when you're team Eren eh Moblit"  she teased

Moblit scrunched his eyebrows as he turned and pointed his kitchen knife at her

"So are you!"

"Am not! I'm on both teams!"

He rolled his eyes at her as he turned back around going back to work.

"You are, you're just too wuss to admit it to Erwin and Levi" he muttered

She let out a scoff in disbelief.

"So not true"

"Whatever helps you sleep at night"

A small smirk sat on her lips before she finally turned back to finish her part.

Concentrating on the meal, the kitchen fell silent again.

A sudden sound of banging along with the sound of a muffled voice can be faintly heard.    

Both Moblit and Hange's ears perked up, they turned to each other. A silent nod from Hange, signaled them to both head to the basement. They were quick on their feet as they made their way already down the stairwell. 

Hange unlocking and opening the door was welcomed by a loud Eren who was shaking the cell bars aggressively, demanding to be let out in a frantic and paranoid voice.

"Oi! Oi! Eren what's wrong?! Calm down!" she said as she and Moblit made their way to him.

Eren snapped his head at their direction.

"Where is she?!"

"Where's who?" asked Hange

"Y/n, Where's Y/n!"

Moblit and Hange just glanced each other with confused looks before Moblit answered.

"Eren, you were told that you can't see Y/n until the expedition remember"

but Eren's paranoid mind was still running fast.

"Is it cause she's dead?!"

"WHAT?!" said the pair in unison

Eren pulled on his hair in frustration.

"Last I saw her, she was bleeding out cause of me. She had these huge slashes on her palms and she was bleeding so much. I haven't seen her since then, you guys haven't updated me on her nor has she responded to my letter! How the fuck am I suppose to know wether she's ok, wether she's alive!"

His eyes were shaking like crazy as he stared straight at the dumfounded pair in front of him.

"Eren" spoke Moblit softly, trying to comfort the scared boy in front of him.
