Jimin POV:

"What about this one?" I studied the photo of the car that Manager Sejin showed me and shook my head. We had spent the last twenty minutes of our lunch break going over photos of cars. I was specific about what I wanted and so far, I didn't like any of them.

"No. I want her to have something nicer. That's too... too plain." After leaving Y/N this morning and heading to the company building, I had explained the situation to Sejin. Although I had figure there would be some kickback from the company about Y/N moving in with me, Sejin was actually on board with the idea, telling me it would be safer for the both of us, telling me that having her in a more secure location would be better for everyone involved.

I pointed to a brand new model of the Genesis G80, in a pretty blue color, "I like this one." Sejin shook his head this time.

"If you're picking out a car for Y/N then I would choose something a little less flashy, a little more common. You don't want something that will stand out too much and draw attention to her." Sejin's words made sense and I nodded in understanding.

"Yeah you're right. I offered to buy her a car like mine, but she said no." I shrugged my shoulders, not really getting why. If I had the money then why couldn't I buy her a nice car like mine?

Sejin laughed, his face filled with amusement. "That's exactly what I mean. Clearly she doesn't want something expensive, something that will draw people to her. A Porsche will." He shook his head. "I can't believe you offered to buy her a Porsche."

"What? I want her to have nice things. She always does nice things for me so I want to do nice things for her." To me, it made sense, but I could see from Manager Sejin's and Y/N's point of view, they felt something different.

"Don't worry Jimin. She will like whatever car you choose for her." He continued scrolling through the photos. "How about this one? It's a Hyundai Avante. It's pretty common here in Seoul so it won't stick out too much."

Although I would have preferred to buy her a fancier car, I knew Sejin was right. "Okay. I like that one. Buy that one. This black one is nice. I want this one. Make sure it has all the add-ons. If I'm going to get her a cheaper car then I want it to be the top of the line."

"Sounds good." After going over the final details, Sejin made the call. They had the car in stock and once it was washed and detailed, it would be delivered to the dorm building then I could have Y/N over and present it to her. Excited over my gift to her, I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face, but my mind kept straying to the other question I had.

"Jimin? Is there something bothering you?" Sejin's voice was filled with concern and I felt grateful that our manager was so caring.

I hesitated, not sure if I wanted to bring it up now, but knowing that Y/N's year in Korea was going by so fast, I needed to figure out the next steps. "If I were to... I want Y/N to stay in Korea with me. I want... I want to marry her."

Sejin's mouth dropped open and I knew he wasn't expecting that sentence to leave my lips. "You... you what?"

I nodded my head. "I want to marry her. I want Y/N to stay in Korea with me. I want... I want forever with her."

"Um... okay. I... that's not what I was expecting you to say, but okay. Y/N would have to apply for naturalization. She would have to give up her US citizenship since Korea doesn't allow dual citizenship." Sejin's words were gentle, knowing that the conversation was delicate.

"Give up her US citizenship?" That part I wasn't expecting and my heart crumbled in my chest. There was no way she would be willing to do that, right?
