Jimin POV:

"Jimin-ah? Are you alright?" Namjoon's voice was full of concern as his voice came over the line. "You've seemed off the last few days."

Not sure what to say, I was silent for a moment, listening to Y/N hum as she finished her shower. I grinned when I realized she was humming Life Goes On. The water turned off and after a moment, I heard her click on the hairdryer.

The whole situation with the sasaengs stalking Y/N had me panicking, not sure how I should handle it. I had been lucky that the company had paid off the media to keep Y/N's name secret. We had talked about it the night I got the call and, even though I would have loved to announce our relationship to the world, she wanted time to properly tell her school. I knew her main worry was them letting her go, but I tried to reassure her that it wouldn't happen.

Y/N had spoken to her supervisor, along with the woman who had chosen her for the program, and they both had been kind and understanding. What she thought would be a bad day turned into a day of celebration. The Metropolitan Office of Education had offered her a more permanent contract instead of the one-year she was currently on. She had gotten amazing feedback from both parents and students. It had allowed the department to see she was a valuable asset.

Y/N had come home in high spirits and when she told me, I couldn't help but cry. My tears had panicked Y/N but I had explained that I was happy. And I was. Her accepting the contract showed me she was serious about staying here with me, about marrying me. After explaining to her, she had kissed me, telling me how much she loved me. It made the situation we were dealing with so much easier.

"Y/N thought I wanted to end the relationship." I couldn't help the sadness in my voice. Thinking of that night made my stomach clenched in pain. After the call with management, I had told Y/N about what had happened, about the sasaengs releasing her name. I had told her that I was worried this was too hard for her, too many problems, and my beautiful girl, my fiancé, the one love of my life had taken that to mean I wanted to break up with her. Seeing the pure devastation on her face had shattered my heart and if there was ever any doubt of her loving me, it completely dissipated at that moment.

I could hear the shock in Namjoon's voice. "She what? Why would she think that?" I explained to Namjoon about the conversation that had taken place and I could hear the hint of sadness and pity in his voice. "Poor Y/N. She must have been so scared, so worried."

His concern for her touched me and I couldn't help but smile. My members adored her and it made me happy to know that. I wanted them to have a good relationship with the woman I was going to spend my life with, with the woman who had suddenly become everything to me. "It's not what I had wanted to do at all. I would never want her to think that way."

"It's alright Jimin-ah. We know you love her and she knows you love her. That's what's important." Namjoon's voice was reassuring and I was grateful for it. "When are you planning on taking her to meet your parents?"

"We're leaving in the morning. My mom invited us to spend Christmas with them. Y/N's nervous about meeting them." Although my parents were happy for me, I knew Y/N was still worried. I had told her the truth when I said my mom was happy for me. As long as I am happy that is all that matters. "She is nervous about her Korean."

Namjoon laughed. "She will be okay. She has learned enough over the past several months to get by. Just speak slowly and translate if necessary. Your family is going to adore her just like the rest of us do. Now go spend time with your girl and stop thinking about craziness." I laughed at Namjoon's bossiness. Even during our break, he was in leader mode. We said our goodbyes and I disconnected the call.
