doctor Kim. known to be the best psychologist in south korea. right from small toddlers to old men and women consulted him for any issues regarding their mental health.
jin was one of them. he was completely fine according to doctor Kim, but his parents insisted to check him up every week.
why?
because they didn't want their eighteen year old son to know about adult things, like kissing, relationships, sex.
they always taught him how to defend himself from anyone who tried to touch him, which included themselves too.
are you kidding me? is what you're saying right now, aren't you?
what kind of parents would do this to their kid. they went to an extent that they didn't send jin to the school. they had a home tutor, to teach him subjects.
whenever they picked biology, his parents would say, "sir, please don't teach that chapter." and the sir, understood what they meant by "that chapter."
he didn't care to ask the reason why. he was being payed well. now you would be wondering why did they send him to dr. Kim when he was innocent, the way they wanted him to be.
it was a mere waste of money for the parents but a good company for both, dr. Kim and jin.
mr. and mrs. kim would take their son to his clinic, minutes before he was closing it.
he would be so happy to see that innocent boy, always clad in a denim jumpsuit and strapped full sleeved t-shirt, with a green scarf and red sneakers and oh, how could one forget that cute small hat and round glasses completed the look.
dr. Kim was a lonely man. even though he was a psychologist, he never had someone for him. with whom he would share beautiful memories, pick little fights.
he would return home and sit on his couch, with a wide smile on his face, that he made others smile.
he didn't have a love of his own, yet he helped others, telling them how to go about, in life at a particular phase. he felt happy to help them.
he would love to meet kids, and see them smile in his arms. he would love to have a talk with old men and women and give them solutions to their problems.
the only person who made him happy to the core, was kim seokjin.
"dr. Kim!" the boy screamed as he ran in for a hug.
"hi! my baby! missed me?" he wrapped his arms around jin's waist as they swayed side to side, as their parents chuckled.
"so much!" jin said as they pulled apart from the hug. he ruffled his hair as the younger scrunched his nose, earning a boop on it.
"umm.. doctor?" the nurse called.
"yes?"
"sir, the files of mrs. lee and mr. wang have been kept in the second drawer and miss moon-"
"shh... it's okay, i'll figure it out tomorrow, anyways it's friday today, and you have a date, don't you?" namjoon said with a playful wink, whilst patting jin's head.
the nurse giggles and leaves his room. "i'll bring him home before 10:00pm, don't worry." he assured his parents.
"doctor, there's a request." mrs. kim said.
"yes, ma'am."
"actually, we're having a family reunion and-" jin's father started.
"yeah, that's great! you should take him with you, he'll meet people, he'll have new friends, right jin baby?"
