Chapter 21

At precisely four in the afternoon Mr. Harrison comes to look for me and to save him from an early heart failure, I walk out before he can come in.

I walk confidently by his side in my long sleeves knee length pencil dress and the five inch stiletto heel I convinced Klaus I wasn't going to break my ankles in.

I feel Mr Harrison glance at me nervously few times but that is it. He says nothing. We go to his office and he gives me a sit then starts telling me on what and how I will be working.

He will be surpervising me for the first week then I'll be on my own with the interns.

Can't wait.

We walk to where the interns are and I wipe my sweaty hands-on my black dress over and over again. When we get into the hall, we greet them then present ourselves.

" Salvior industry has come up with a secretary program for all new graduates and that you know already but what you don't know is that it has come up with a new scheme in this program that will help you distinct yourselves in the professional world so apart from your secretary intern program you'll be learning a new method of archiving.

A little bit different from what you all know but simple and practical. I will be coordinating and supervising the documentation archiving with you during all the program meanwhile Mr Harrison who is my boss, will be with us for this job only a week.

I hope for us to get along, learn and enjoy our journey here. Thanks" silence filled my after speech. I look at their almost mortified faces and pity them for being so terrified because they are in this building.

I giggle

" You're free to clap, you know."

I walk back to Klaus' office few hours later, exhausted but satisfied. I open the door with a pout and he looks up and amusement crosses his face.

" Come here, love." I don't need to be told twice as I rush to cuddle in his arms. He wraps me protectively and I can't be more satisfied.

" Tired?" He asks

" Exhausted. We should go back home." I whine and he chuckles.

" There is still twenty minutes to go, love." He kisses my hair. I feign crying and he laughs. I stay for the twenty  remaining minutes on his laps. Playing with the silver chains on his suit and thinking about few other things.

I walk into the bathroom to freshen up. I take off my panties, then I realise I'm on my period. I freeze on my spot and my mind goes high way. Klaus knocks on the door a while later

" Love, you have been there for an hour. What is happening ? Are you okay?" He asks but I don't even peep a word.

" Love?" A panicked Klaus'voice sounds. Next thing I know he is appearing infront of me in the bathroom. My heart leaps and I scream at the sudden appearance.

" Klaus!" I screech but he doesn't seem to care as he sighs in.....relief? And  starts looking all over me for any injury.

" Why are you hiding in the bathroom?" He asks visibly puzzled.

" I'm not hiding." I shoot back a little annoyed.

" Then what is the problem, my love?" I bite my lip dropping my head to look at my toes, playing with them.

" Tell me, love." He insists holding from my cheek to the nape of my neck.

" I forgot I'm on my period." I squeek slowly.
