Chapter 26

I walk through the door and go upstairs to the North Wing. My etiquette teacher has just left and I'm more than tired. I just want to pass out on my bed but can't since I still need to go to the mall to bye few things for Kaitlyn.... but I think I can't do without a nap so that's what I'll do.

Take a twenty minutes nap then I'll be good to go.

I trip to my underwear, I set my alarm to ring after thirty minutes then into bed and out as soon am my head hit the bed.

When I wake up next, it's with intense need to break my phone because it's blaring directly into my ear. I successfully turn it off without breaking it which is a very good thing, then get up and freshen up in the bathroom.

I put on one of my see through silky night dress that I left in the bathroom, look myself in the mirror arranging my make-up.

I walk out into the bedroom to meet Chloe and Kaitlyn waiting for me in the sitting area. I walk towards them with a smile.

" Hey, beautiful." I coo at Kaitlyn who raises her hands in the air, a gesture for me to carry her. I take her in my arms as soon as she is at arm's reach and kiss her all over making her laugh.

" Has she been good to you Chloe?" I ask

" She has been Madam." I nod at her while smiling at Kaitlyn.

" You've been a good girl for me? " I kiss her over and over again. While she giggles and tries to wiggle out of my arms.

" I'll be going out to the mall for a while. I'll not be out for too long." I say stoping my kissing harassment on Kaitlyn. Chloe nods with an uncertain look on her face, as she takes a pick out at the sunset.

" What for?" I hear the beautiful and deep voice of my better half, my soulmate and I smile as I look at him walking into the room. Chloe almost  jumps out of her skin with a look of horror on her face. She shifts and stands behind me. I pity the poor girl.

" You're early, sweetheart" I say with a large smile on my face. He makes a throaty growl as he checks me out thoroughly. I smile even more.

" I am." He walks towards me with a smirk and kisses my forehead. Kaitlyn squeals when he finally gets her attention. We're both surprised at her outburst. Klaus looks surprise while I only giggle at her behaviour.

Kaitlyn puts out her hands to reach out for Klaus, almost forcefully getting out of mine. Klaus gives a throaty chuckle at the scene as he looks at me then back at Kaitlyn before he carries her from my arms.

Kaitlyn hands directly goes to Klaus' cheeks lightly beating them in excitement. I know Klaus hates when I just touch his cheeks so I look at him grimacing but letting her do as she pleases. It makes me melt.

" She is beautiful." He finally speaks.

" Yeah, you're right." We both let ourselves captured by Kaitlyn, loving each moment of it. I'm happy that Klaus is doing this, it makes my heart swell with happiness and content.

" It is late. You can not leave at this time." Klaus breaks the silence the most joy-killing or in our case, happy-killing way possible. I sigh.

" I have to. If I don't go today, it will affect my tomorrow's schedule and I don't want that." I walk away from them towards my wardrobe. Klaus follows me with Kaitlyn in his arms.

" You can do that during the day, my love or hand that task to someone else. " He insists.

" Klaus, I can't okay? It's Kaitlyn we're talking about and I refuse to be the type of woman that leaves all her baby's tasks for others to do. I want to do this myself."
