Chapter 25

" I am having two visitors this morning." Klaus says kissing my neck and inhaling my scent.

" You have the baby's smell all over you." He says again. When we came back from Klaus' property where we slept last night, I layed on the bed, next to my baby and Klaus came later on to cuddle. We were in a comfortable silence before he interrupted my thoughts.

I humm in comprehension before we fall into silence, again.

" We can't ditch work today as well." I hear Klaus sigh.

" I am starting to think you like that job more than I do." He snorts.

" I'm going to bath." I stand up and walk into the bathroom.

When I walk out a good while later, I find Klaus already dressed up with humid messy hair with the baby in his arms. I look at them for a while with utter surprise before a smile breaks its way on my lips.

" Take her." He tells me but the little cutie in his arms cuddles further into him and I aww at the sight. I feel little tears starting to rise at the back of my eyes as I walk towards them.

" Looks like she'll be a daddy's girl." I giggle at the face he makes.

I get dressed then take the baby from Klaus for him to leave to his office. When I'm done getting both of us ready I call for Zoedae for her to take the baby. I feel like I'm going to crumble with work.

Before the baby, I thought I had my plate full but now I'm just overwhelmed. I walk to the south wing where there is no trace of any kid. They are probably in school. I made sure of that; they will have the best education there is.

I walk with Zoedae to where I can find all of the maids.

" Zoedae, I need one of your friends that can babysit this cutie here." I say cooing at the baby and smiling at her. I should really find a name for her.

Zoedae nods and calls three girls. I look at them for a while then take the oldest of them all.

" What's your name Miss?" The tall brunette is quite taken aback and doesn't mind hiding it.

" C-Chloe." It comes out a whisper. I smile at her as I ask the others to get on with their day.

" And how old are you, Chloe?"

" Tweny-four" wow she's really older than me. I inwardly pout. This is the constant reminder that I'm really really young and dealing with things that I shouldn't normally be dealing with.

" Ok, Chloe. Zoedae will tell you what will be your new job as from today but in resume, you will be this little baby's here, nanny. You okay with that, right?" I make sure my eyes bore huge holes into her face to make sure she doesn't even thinks of declining my offer.

I know it's not how I usually proceed but I am against times and energy and can't afford to waist any.

She shyly nods mumbling a yes Madam.

" Great." I smile widely at her and start leaving with Zoedae following closely but stop in my track turning around to see her still stuck on the same spot I left her

" And......get ready we're going out at one this afternoon. The same goes for you too Zoedae." "Bossy" the usual mysterious voice snorts in my head but I ignore it completely.

" I think you scared the sheep out of her." Zoedae comments when we are moving towards the west wing to which I giggle.

" The sheep?" I ask wondering what's going on in her head.
