Sky Princess to Grounder Queen (Clexa)

Chapter 2

One week later 

Clarke's pov

Its been a week since I arrived on the ground, it's been hard but I feel like I've adjusted easily. My rations ran out a few days after I arrived but i managed to whittle a bow and arrow so I've been using that to hunt animals to eat. I also learnt how to make a fire which has been useful for cooking and keeping me warm.

Lexa's pov  

It has been a week since my scouts informed me about the skaigada (sky girl) who crashed her ship in my territory, specifically trikru territory. I have been informed by my scouts daily about what she has been doing and i think it's now time Anya and I go and talk to her. She seems as though she poses no threat which is good. There is something about this girl that is different she seems to be very independent for her age or so I have been told. I walk out of my tent to see if i can find Anya and I find her by the healer's hut. 

Lexa -  Anya come hir. (here) 

Anya - Sha heda? (yes commander)

Lexa - Osir laik na talk kom the skai gada. (we are going to talk to the sky girl)

Anya - Laik yu sure bilaik ste wise Heda? (are you sure that is wise commander)

Lexa - Laik yu questioning me Anya? (are you)

Anya - No Heda. 

Lex - Os, come ona (good, come on)

We both made our way to the stables to get our horses before letting the guards know where we were going. Some of them insisted on following us in case of any dangers along the way but I insisted we would be fine and they then backed off. Anya and I made our way to the crash site in silence and watched the skaigada for a while before approaching. It looked like she was making some more arrows. 

Anya - Chit do osir do heda? (What do we do commander)

Lexa - Osir approach en talk in trigedasleng. Em probably speaks gonasleng en disha way osir can see taim em does. (We approach and talk in trigedasleng. She probably speaks English and this way we can see if she does)

Anya - okay. 

When Anya and i approached the sky girl she looked scared and started backing away so I decided to test my theory before she ran off. 

Lexa - Chon yu bilaik? Hakom kamp raun hir? (who are you? why are you here?)

Clarke - I...I don't know what you're s..saying 

I turn towards Anya. Watching the sky girl in the corner of my eye. 

Lexa - Ai knew em spoke gonasleng. (I knew she spoke english)

Anya - Chit do osir do nau? (what do we do now?)

I look back at the girl and she is just staring at us curiously. She seems so interesting so I think I'm going to give her a chance but I want to see what Anya thinks we should do first if we agree good if we don't I'm still gong to do what I want anyway because I'm the commander.

Lexa - Ai say em has tu options. come kom osir kom tondc o ste hir en wan op kom no protection. chit do yu think? (I say she has two options. come with us to tondc or is here everyone wan op from no protection. what do you think?)

Anya - ai agree.

i turned back to the sky girl and she was staring at us looking confused so i decided to tell her the plan in gonasleng.

Lexa - Right sky girl, you have two options. You can either come with us to TonDC and will will provide you with information about how things work here on the ground and you can tell me about the sky or you can stay here but may may die because if you choose this option I am going to lift the protection order i have on you. 

She was looking at me surprised for a while before she shook her head and replied.

Clarke - well it doesn't look like I have much of a choice but I would rather be around others than struggle like I have been.

She says that with a little smile on her face.

Lexa - It didn't seem like you were struggling. My scouts informed me that you have been doing well with hunting and keeping yourself warm. They also said that they can see a warrior in you.

Clarke - You had people watching me?

Lexa - Of course I had to see if you were a threat to my people.

Clarke - So am I a threat?

Lexa - You don't seem like a threat but only you know if you are or not. Right i will give you five minutes to collect your things from this metal death trap and then we can leave for TonDC. 

Anya and I walked a way slightly and Anya looked at me with a slight smirk on her face. 

Lexa - what are you smirking at?

Anya - That was a cute little interaction, was it not?

I sighed and rolled my eyes. What is wrong with this woman.

Lexa - It's called being friendly Ahn you should try it sometime. She's a scared little girl at the moment so I couldn't be my complete stoic self otherwise she would have been even more scared. 

Anya - Okay Heda. Can I have the responsibility of training and teaching her trig?

Lexa - Are you sure I could get someone else to do it?

Anya - No No, it's okay i want to do it. I can already see a warrior in her it just might take a bit of time for her to see it herself. 

Lexa - Okay. If you're sure.

Anya - yes of course. Thank you Heda. 

We both turned around and saw that the sky girl was done and making her way over to us.

Lexa - Are you all ready?

Clarke - Yes. Thank you for giving me a chance and not just killing me on the spot. 

Lexa - Don't thank me yet. Anya is going to be training you. 

She looked at me with a confused face.

Lexa - To be a warrior and she will teach you Trigedasleng.

I clarified. She just looked at me with shock on her face and I let out a little smile. 

Lexa - I'm guessing you don't know how to ride a horse?

i pointed over to the horses and she shook her head. 

Lexa - That's okay you can ride with Anya. She will show you how to get on.

Clarke - Okay. Thank you.

Anya quickly shows her how to get on and she picks it up fairly quickly it only took her a few tries. That makes me happy because it shows she is persistent and a fast learner which is good when it comes to being a warrior.

Anya - We are ready Heda.

Lexa - Okay let's go.

I kicked my horse into a trot and we made our way back to TonDC.
