Chapter 11

The next day 

Klark's pov.

I wake up to kisses being placed all over my face and I groan I never like waking up early even though I should be used to it by now. When I open my eyes I see a pair of amazing green eyes looking at me and I smile. Lexa smiles back at me and we cuddle for a short while before she tries to get out of my grasp.

Lexa - Come on ai niron we have a busy day today and we must go and eat breakfast.

I buried my face in the covers and let out a loud groan. 

Klark - Ugh I don't want to go and scout a boring camp full of boring potentially hostile people niron.

Lexa - I know Klark but we must it is our duty as Heda and Heda's partner to scout potential enemies. 

Klark - Okay fine you win. Let's get dressed. 

I give her a quick kiss before changing my clothes. We are not wearing our shoulder guards today as it is a scouting mission but when I go with Anya to offer a peace meeting with Heda I will. Lexa will insist I must so that they know how important I am. Her words not mine.

Lexa - Come Klark, let's go meet the others for breakfast before we leave for the day.

Klark - Coming niron. 

I quickly finish up and grab her hand before we leave our tent. When we get to the fire pit Anya, Indra, Lincoln and Nyko are already there waiting with breakfast for us. 

Klark - Morning everyone. Mochof for the breakfast. 

Anya - No problem Klarkie. 

Klark - Anya beja. I am not in the mood for that nickname today, the next few days are going to really test my patience because of these invaders and before you say anything yes I was technically an invader but it's different, I didn't have a choice. They do even if they were dying up there I don't care.

Anya - Damn girl who pissed on your breakfast. 

Lexa - Anya now is not the time for jokes piss her off and she will end up going and wiping them all out.

Anya - Sorry Heda. Sorry Klark I will be quiet now. 

Klark - I have a question right. Why are you guys so for forming an alliance with skaikru? We should be working on our plan to defeat the mountain not babysitting the fools that fell from the sky.

Lexa - I have already told you why we are doing this klark. They might be able to help us and if not we will manage without them but we will not be so nice as we would if they did help. That way you can kind of get what you want. Okay?

Klark - Okay niron. I'm just going to say one more thing. They are more like the maun men than us with their tek and fayogons. 

Lexa - I know Klark that is why we need them on our side. 

Satisfied I give her a quick peck on the cheek and we all finish eating. 

Lexa - Right come on then we must leave now to could a good watch in before sunset.

Anya, Indra and Lincoln - Sha Heda.

I just smiled and got up because as much as I don't want to see them annoying idiots, Lexa is right we need them. She will end up scaring them into submission and I won't have to deal with them much hopefully. The scouting teams were already sorted last night so when we got to the gate everyone was there and we all left. There were three teams of six, so that we could have them surrounded without them knowing and so that we could see them from every angle. Their camp was close to Tondisi but not close enough so they know we exist. When we get to the camp Lexa and I are in the same tree watching them closely. It looks like my mum has become the chancellor which is going to be annoying and they're building a wall around their camp, smart move as they will be protected from the animals. 

Klark - They are smart but they will not last long if they solely rely on their fayogons for protection, they will run out of bullets and become defenceless. 

Lexa - You are right niron. Perhaps we can send a few warriors to teach them some survival basics if they agree to the alliance. 

Klark - Can't we just leave them defenceless?

Lexa - You know that is not possible if we want an alliance to hold. Why are you so against them anyway they were your people.

Klark - I guess not and you know why I am against them they are useless and noisy they will end up dying from starvation at this rate they are scaring not only the animals around here but the ones where we usually hunt and you answered your own question hodnes they were my people the aren't anymore now they are just a bunch of invaders that need to sort themselves out before I kill them all. 

Lexa - You can't kill them all niron that's not how this is going to go. Okay? Or am I going to have to place protection around them so that you can't?

Klark - Okay fine I will behave but if they do something remotely dumb when I go then you know no one can save them.

Lexa - Okay niron that is fine as long as you try to behave and you do not provoke them when we go then I can agree to that.

Klark - Mochof.

We carried on scouting until the late hours of the afternoon Lexa and I have come to the conclusion that these branwadas are going to get them selves killed if we don't help them and even though I don't want to I have to. Heda's orders. I have been watching them all day and I recognise most of them however there are two people that I haven't seen yet, my father and the ex-chancellor. I will have to watch out for them over the next few days. 

Lexa - Come on niron. Let's go home. 

Klark - Oh my goodness finally. 

She smiled at me and I smiled back, we shared a short kiss and then headed back home just to repeat today again two more times. The next two days are not going to be fun that's for sure but one good thing is I will be able to spend lots of time with Lexa.
