Sky Princess to Grounder Queen (Clexa)

Chapter 14

Two days later

The alliance meeting.

Abby's pov

The past two days have been crazy, we have finally gotten a system going of how things should get done but when we sent a hunting party out yesterday they didn't come back which is strange because if it was they grounders why didn't they do it sooner? I have so many questions and I might actually get some answers because a few of the others and I are going to meet the commander soon. It is just before dawn and I have just woken Bellamy, Raven and Octavia up so that we can go and meet the guard that they sent to take us to their village. I don't know how to feel about this meeting even though we decided that we will take the alliance because they have more knowledge of the ground so they will be able to help us. 

Abby - right guys. Are you ready we need to get going now. 

They all give me little tired nods and went to the gates. Once they opened there were two grounders stood there and when they saw us they gave us little nods turned around and started walking off. Strange behaviour but I guess we had to follow them.

Abby - Come on guys. 

Raven - I don't understand why we had to wake up so early though like who has a meeting at dawn?

Abby - I know it's not the best but that's how the grounder's do things so we have to respect it. 

Bellamy - You know your daughter nearly killed me when they left yesterday right? They are all savages, we don't need them.

Raven - Yeah Clarke's a badass warrior chick now it's so cool. 

Octavia - WAIT WHAT!!!

Octavia - You have a daughter?

Abby - Well done Bellamy. Yes Octavia I have a daughter. They were going to float her so I sent her to the ground seven months ago and while I thought she was dead. She was down here with the grounders. 

I was so annoyed like why would he do that. 

Bellamy - Sorry.

Raven - Octavia you didn't know?

Octavia - Wow that's crazy and no Raven I didn't know.

By the time we finished that conversation we had arrived at their village and when I say I was definitely shocked and I don't think I was the only one because I could hear gasps behind me. We had to disarm of course because there was a sign to say that no weapons were allowed in the village. Bellamy was going to make a fuss but I stopped him because we made them do the same thing when they came to Arkadia. The whole village was awake and doing things, there were children running around and giggling, people training, cooking and chatting. It was such a different sight compared to the ark everyone looked alive. We were lead to the biggest tent in the village, I'm guessing this is the commander's tent and just before we walked in a guard stopped me.

Guard (It's Gustus) - If you so much as look at either of them the wrong way I will slit your throat. 

I was extremely nervous when he said that so I just nodded trying to swallow the lump in my throat. When we walked in I was shocked at the sight, There was a young woman on a throne, she only looked slightly older than Clarke but I'm guessing she is the commander, and speaking of Clarke she was sat on the floor between the commander's legs while she braided Clarke's hair. I cleared my throat and they both looked up at us with stoic faces. Once Clarke saw us she got up and spoke to one of the guards and he looked scared and I think he apologised for something but I'm not sure because they were speaking a different language.
