Chapter 13

Back in Tondc just before nightfall

Klark's pov

As soon as we all got back to Tondc the relief I felt was indescribable, and I'm guessing it was the same for Lexa because as soon as she saw me walking in to our tent she hugged me so really tight and gave me a big kiss on the cheek. 

Klark - Okay niron, I can't breathe.

Lexa - Sorry. I am just so glad that you are safe. How did it go?

Klark - It's okay. It went as well as you would expect, when we got there all of their guards had their noisy weapons pointed at us and then the chancellor opened the gate. I then told her to get her guards to put their weapons down because if we wanted them dead they would be. 

I continued telling Lexa everything that happened and by the time I was going to tell her about my father I had an idea and I knew she would back me because she always does.

Lexa - What are you thinking Klark?

Klark - Okay so when I asked her where my father was her eyes started watering so I figured they floated him right so I asked when it happened and who did it and she said it was Jaha and 2 weeks ago right? Now they have him locked up but they will eventually release him and I don't think that's a good idea.

Lexa - Klark I am so sorry I know how close you were with him and what do you propose happens to this man?

Klark - It's fine but the reason why I am telling you this is because that man is a danger to everyone around him he has had so many innocent people killed just because he had the power and he needs to die. Jus drein Jus daun. I want to end his life. Death by a thousand cuts. Do you think we can use it as a term for the alliance to start?

Lexa - I am not sure Klark, he is one of them we can't really punish or kill him.

Klark - Please niron. It will give my mind peace knowing that my father's killer is dead. 

Lexa - Okay ai hodnes we will propose it. It is better than them all dying I suppose.

Klark - Thank you. 

Klark - One more thing. 

Lexa - Hmm

Klark - Promise me you won't get angry though.

Lexa - Why?

Klark - Lexa promise.

Lexa - Okay fine I promise. Now tell me.

Klark - One of the guards tried to grab me....

She was consumed by rage as soon as I said that which isn't surprising.

Lexa - WHAT!!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY TRIED TO GRAB YOU? DO THEY NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

Klark - Lexa beja calm down, you didn't let me finish. 

She calmed down slightly so I gave her a hug which made her relax fully. 

Lexa - Sorry carry on. 

Klark - Don't apologise. If I found out one of them tried to even touch you they would be dead by now you showed much restraint. Anyway as I was saying one of them tried to grab me but me being me sensed it and he was against the gate with a knife to his neck before he could touch me. So I nicely told him not to try anything again or I would slit his throat. 

Lexa - While I am glad that you were obviously able to protect yourself I am not happy they tried to touch you without your permission so I think we need to make sure they know who you are. Okay wanheda?

Klark - Okay heda

I gave her a quick kiss and made sure that she was calm again before I walked out of our tent to find Anya because I wanted to train for a bit.

Klark - Anya. Can we go and train for a bit. 

Anya - Of course Klark 

Klark - Thank you, I need to blow off some steam.

Anya - Let's go. 

We trained for around two hours before we decided to go and get some dinner. Anya disarmed me a few times but it was mostly me who disarmed her. When we got back to the fire pit Lexa, Nyko and Lincoln were already there with food for us so we sat and started eating. I of course sat next to Lexa and Anya sat next to Nyko. We ate our food and then chatted for a while about skaikru.

Anya – Do you think they will take the alliance?

Klark – If they want to continue living, they will. They would be stupid not to.

Lexa – I am not sure niron you said they were stuck up so if they still are then they might not especially if we want them to give us Jaha.

Klark – you're right. I didn't think about that but hopefully they put their egos aside and take the deal.

Lexa – Well we will see what they decide in two days for now let's carry on how we were before they arrived. Klark we have a war council meeting soon to discuss the plan for the mountain.

Klark – Okay. Can we go to bed now I am really tired after today?

Lexa – Of course. Let's go.

Klark & Lexa – Goodnight, guys.
