Chapter 17

Two week time jump

Klark's pov 

It's been two weeks since the alliance with skaikru was finalised and broke off in the same day. It's quite funny when you think about it. Anyway the past two weeks have consisted of meetings and meetings and meetings about how to defeat the mountain. I think Lexa and I have come to the realisation that we need skaikru or at least we need Raven because they understand the mountains technology better than we do even though I know some stuff I don't know how to get the acid fog down and that is the biggest threat. From what we've heard from Raven and Octavia they can't come up with a plan that doesn't involve us either. Speaking of Octavia and Raven they are pretty much one of us and live in TonDC now, Lincoln and Octavia made their relationship official as did raven and Anya and I couldn't be happier they have become really close to all of us and our people respect them.   So we are going to see if they decide they need us and if they come we will try and be civil. Speaking of skaikru they are surprisingly at the gate right now. I look at Lexa and she just shrugs her shoulders so we just walk up to the gate. 

Lexa - Marcus and Abby of the sky people why are you here?

Abby - We need your help commander. The mountain have taken most of our people.

Lexa - This is not our concern chancellor we told you that we weren't going to help you because of what Bellamy did. 

Abby - I know but Bellamy did that on his own stupid accord we had nothing to do with that and we really need your help. 

At this point you could see how desperate she was and Lexa was being a little cruel by toying with her. 

Klark - Perhaps we can talk about this somewhere more private. 

I turned to Lexa.

Klark - Our tent perhaps?

Lexa - Of course. 

We walked to our tent. Lexa sat on her throne of course and I stood to her left. Anya and Indra were on her right. The chancellor stood in front of us, Kane, Raven and Octavia were with her. 

Klark - Before we get started again I want to ask a question. 

Abby - Of course ask away.

Klark - How do we know that if we try and work together again none of your people will try to kill us or our people?

Kane - Because from now on we will make sure that the rest of our people know that you will be helping us and that there will be consequences for any foul play to any of you or any of your people. 

Lexa turned to me. 

Lexa - Niron. What do you think? It is your call this time.

Klark - I don't know Lexa, I don't like these people and only ones I trust are Octavia and Raven. Anya, Indra what do you think?

Anya - As much as we don't like them we do need them, as great as Klark is she doesn't know how to get the acid fog down.

Klark - Indra? What do you think?

Indra - I agree with Anya Wanheda. 

Klark - I thought you might and so do I so Heda. What do you think? It's your word after all.

Lexa - Our word Klark. Our word and since when do you call me Heda?

Klark - I thought It would be fitting for the situation.

Everyone chuckled a little bit when I said that because even before we got married I always called Lexa by her name.

Lexa - Okay well If you three think that we should give this another go then we shall. However we need to be much, much more careful than we were last time. You know I trust you three with my life I just want to get our people back and end the mountain.
