Rayla walked towards her apartment, head hanging low. She took a look at her watch and gasped when she saw it was already 5pm. She had dinner plans with her roommate. Plus she planned on chatting with her friend after dinner. Rayla quickly sped towards the building to see the doorman chatting with an old woman.
"Hey Ray." He said as she quickly walked in.
"Heyyyy!" She said raising her hand and turning towards the elevators. She pressed the button and tapped her foot on the cold tiled floor. There was a ding and the elevator doors opened. Rayla sighed and went in, seeing that it was empty. She pressed the 6th floor button and waited as it started going up. She quickly fixed her hair in the reflexion of the mirrored walls, patting it flat.

Rayla came in to see her roommate/best friend crowded at the kitchen trying to cook. Her short purple hair was dangling above her eyes, her black sweaters sleeves rolled high because she was extremely clumsy. She was on the tips of her toes, in deep concentration.
"Hey Rayla!" She said raising a hand but not looking up. Rayla rolled her eyes and flicked off her shoes. She watched as her roommate almost dropped the pepper shaker.
"Amity....." Rayla warned. Amity shrugged and wiped her hands on her paw print apron.
"I won't break anything." She promised. Rayla smiled and walked up to her.
"And.... Where's Moonpaw?" Rayla asked. Amity put her hands on her hips and blew a strand of hair away.
"He's in the bedroom." Amity said, turning her attention back to dinner.
