Callum set down their lunch and smiled at Katie, who was raising her eyebrows.
"What?" He asked.
"Do you seriously flirt with everything that breathes?" She asked, narrowing her eyes. Callum burst out laughing, clutching onto the table for support.
"No, i do not!" He defended, laughing his head off. Katie scoffed and grabbed a fry.
"Yes, you do!" She said, elongating the o. Callum rolled his eyes and picked up his burger.
"I just made a friend." He argued.
"Hm." She mumbled.
"She's bi." He pointed out.
"Still attracted to males." She argued.
"Doesn't mean she's attracted to me!" He said. Katie gave up with a huff and dug in.
"So where are you from?" She asked. Callum sighed quietly, he always got these questions.
"I used to live four hours from here, in Sydney."
"So why did you come here?"
"Because I wanted to study history and art."
"Two majors?"
"Well yeah, I couldn't decide."
"How come?" These questions were getting on his nerves.
"Because I told a girl that I wanted to do both, and if I ever see her again, she'll know that I succeeded."
