Callum hummed to himself as he packed his bag. He loved talking to his friend during class, but it wasn't doing well for his grades.
"Who were you talking to?" A voice came. Callum turned around in surprise to see Katie smiling at him. She was gripping onto her shoulder bag, her brown hair tumbling down her shoulders with a wavy look. She was wearing a creamy white cashmere sweater and black leggings.
"Katie!" Callum said fixing his messy hair. She grinned,
"I was umm..... talking to my dad." He lied.
"Awww that's so sweet!" She said. Callum nodded.
"Yeah, he gets lonely with just my brother. He lives around 4 Horus away, but i never visit." He said, hoping he wasn't rambling too much. She was just smiling sweetly and nodding.
"What about your mum?" She asked. Callum looked at his feet.
"She's dead." He said. Katie touched his shoulder and smiled warmly at him.
"How bout some lunch? My treat!" She said. Callum opened his mouth in shock, but nodded.
Maybe he needed to get his mind off of Rayla.
She's gone.......
Never going to see her again.......

He shook all of those thoughts and looked at her.
"Why not?" He asked, grabbing her hand.
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"Ummm, McDonald's?" She asked. Callum laughed.
"I haven't been there since I was fourteen." He exclaimed. Katie giggled.
"How come?"
"Oh." He said, stopping in his tracks.

"Oh?" She asked.
"Well, let's just say i met someone on a cruise when i was fourteen. Long story short i never saw her again and her fav fast food place to eat in was McDonalds. My younger brother Ezran got way too attached to her and always refused to go. So did i but..... i tried my best to hide it." He said. Katie smiled and fixed her hair.
"Well then let me take you out to McDonald's!" She said, pulling him faster.
