Lacey woke up wrapped in Masons arm, her head pounding from the alcohol she had consumed, but hearing Mason softly snore behind her made the world feel like it was right. "Morning" Mason mumbled, as he pulled Lacey closed to him, wrapping his arms around her and just smiling to himself, he couldn't think of a better way wake up than her being in his arms. "Morning" lacey whispered, as she smiled up at him, taking in him half asleep, how his hair lay in all different directions on his head, how his eyes were barely open, but the smile on his face was there, the way his nose crinkled slightly from smiling. "What are you staring at" he mumbled, as Lacey shook her head, laughing slightly. "Nothing, absolutely nothing" Lacey smiled, as she blinked a couple of times, just to make sure she wasn't dreaming. "You're still staring" Mason mumbled, as he pulled her closer if possible, just wanting her body next to him. "You need to get up for training" Lacey whispered, as she traced his jaw with her fingers, smiling to herself, as he pulled her hand, interlocking their fingers above the duvet that was keeping them warm. "I can think of other ways to train my body" Mason smirked, as he glanced down at his girlfriend. "I'm not sure I'm going to be able to walk today" Lacey mumbled with a smile, as Mason smirked to himself. "At least people will know you're mine if you can't walk" he chuckled to himself, as Lacey rolled her eyes.

"You know you're going to start trouble with that post" Mason laughed, as Lacey shook her head, smiling at her boyfriend. "I honestly don't care, I'm happy" Lacey smiled, as they walked into Cobham together, Mason kissing his girlfriend before heading to the dressing room, leaving Lacey stood near the training pitches, Ellie coming over to her. "It's so nice to see you again!" Ellie smiled, as Lacey smiled at her. "How are you and Ben?" Lacey smiled, making small conversation, as Ellie smiled, nodding her head. "He makes me really happy" Ellie smiled, as she waved over to Ben who was entering the training pitch with Mason and Reece, both of them smiling at the girls. "Your album is amazing by the way, I really love 'we belong together'" Ellie smiled, as Lacey smiled at the girl. "I don't really have a favourite, I think they're a little over played now" Lacey laughed, she was thankful for her music being played constantly, but she couldn't help but her bored of listening to herself, and she was in a serious writers block at the moment. "You guys are so cute" Ellie mumbled, as she scrolled through Instagram, smiling at the photo Lacey had posted on the way to training. "His the cuter one" Lacey laughed, as her phone began to ring. "One minute, sorry" Lacey mumbled, as she answered her ringing phone.
"Lace, the tours been cleared, your scheduled to fly to America on April the 1st" Alex smiled down the phone, as Lacey twirled her hair in her fingers, looking over at Mason who booted the ball into the back of the net, the team engulfing him into a hug. "Lace, you listening?" Alex's voice rang through the phone. "Yeah, April 1st" Lacey replied. "But I'd appreciate you not getting pregnant this time around" Alex chuckled, as Lacey rolled her eyes. "I doubt that will happen, but yeah" Lacey mumbled, her eyes watch her boyfriend run in and out of the players, making exercise look effortless. "Have you told him?" Alex questioned. "Yeah, his really happy" Lacey smiled, thinking back to the conversation that seemed like a blur from the previous night. "Great, right I'll see you during the week" Alex smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, hanging the phone up and walking back to Ellie. "Work?" Ellie laughed, as Lacey nodded her head. "Tour planning is stressful" Lacey mumbled, as she tugged on the hoodie she was wearing, feeling a little cold. "I hope long distance works out for you, you both deserve to be happy" Ellie smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, wanting to push the tour to the back of her mind and just enjoy the moment she was living in for now.
The truth was she had lost Mason once before, and she didn't plan on that happening again, but she knew being on tour and him playing football would be difficult, but that didn't mean she needed to think about it right now.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Ben asked, as he dived over the stand and stood in front of the two girls, Lacey smiling at him as he kissed Ellie on the cheek, wrapping her in a sweaty hug. "Just how happy I am" Lacey smiled, as Ben wrapped an arm around her, giving her a side hug whilst he drank some water. "Happiness looks good on you Lace" Ben smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, smiling to herself, as she continued to watch Mason run around with the ball. "Yeah, you'll be here a while, his always the last off the pitch" Ben laughed, as Lacey rolled her eyes. "His not joking yano, he never comes of for at least an hour after training" Ellie stated, as Lacey looked at her laughing. "Well I'll just have to give him a reason to get off, won't I" Lacey smiled, as Mason looked over briefly, smiling at her, before shooting the ball into the empty goal, the team around him laughing and smiling at him.
