"It's good to see you smiling" Ellie smiled, as she stood in the stand with Lacey, both of them sipping hot drinks to help keep them warm, as the cold air nipped at them, it was in February after all. "It feels good to be smiling" Lacey smiled, as she held her drink in her hand and tugged at her beanie a little, ensuring her face was a little covered, not just because of the cold but because of the buzzing media that was around documenting the day that Chelsea were going to have.

"So you and Mason?" Ellie teased, wiggling her eyebrows slightly, making Lacey roll her own eyes but smile with a laugh. "Me and Mason" Lacey smiled, nodding her head, as Ellie jumped up and down, excited for her friend. "Now you just have to keep him" Ellie teased, as Lacey nodded her head sipping her drink. "I'm sure it won't be that hard" Lacey laughed, as the crowd boomed around them, and the players walked out on their lines, Lacey's eyes focused on the shirt that read, Mount 19.

"Come on ref" Lacey huffed, as she sat back down in her seat, knowing that the opposing team were playing more dirtier than they had in the first half, Chelsea leading with just one goal, but the other team were doing their best to equalise, even if that included taking out the Chelsea players. "It's a free kick" Ellie mumbled, as Lacey nodded, her own eyes watching as Mason picked up the ball, placing it on the spot he needed to, and flying it over to Ben as the whistle went, the players closing in on Ben as Reece tried his hardest to help, being pulled back, but the ref didn't blow his whistle for that, instead, Ben shot the ball back to Mason, who was then struck down with the studs from another players boots, Mason lying on the floor, his hands around his thigh, as he shouted, the ref finally blowing his whistle.
"Mase get up" Lacey whispered, as she held her hands to her face, watching intently, as Ellie looked at the worried girlfriend, Ben, Reece and Kai all gathered around Mason, but he stayed put on the ground, as the medical team rushed on, Lacey standing up to her feet, the sheer panic taking over her body.

The booing from the home teams fan could be heard all around. "Why's he not getting up?" Ellie muttered, as Mason finally stood up, wobbling on his feet slightly, but shaking his head at the medical team. Mason shook his head again, but accepted the arm of the medical teams as he hobbled off the pitch, much to his dismay.

Lacey and Ellie left their seats as the game re-kicked off, a free kick and a yellow card being thrown into the game, but it wouldn't be the last one before the game drew to an end.
"Miss you can't go down there" a security guard stated, as Lacey threw her hands in the air. "My boyfriend has just been injured if I want to see him, I'm going to fucking see him" Lacey muttered, as the security guard radioed through for some assistance, Lacey rolling her eyes. "You'll have to move me" Lacey mumbled, as she crossed her arms, Ellie laughing slightly at her attitude. "I'll have no problem doing that" the security guard stated, as his friend joined him, both of them walking Lacey out of the stadium, Ellie following, still laughing.

"Have you seriously just been thrown out?" Declan laughed to her as himself and Lauren walked into the entrance. "They won't let me see him" Lacey huffed, as she pulled a hand through her hair that was lose out of the beanie. "They won't until his been medically assessed" Declan mumbled, as he tried to phone a Mason and see if he could get an update on the situation. "Dirty fucking players" Lacey mumbled, as she leant against the wall outside, Lauren and Ellie both finding her reaction hilarious. "He'll be fine, his Money Mase" Declan offered a smile in the direction of the worried girl, but his smile dropped when he saw Lacey's face, understanding from her facial expression that the girl generally was pissed off with the outcome of the tackle, but understanding that she was concerned for her boyfriend.

"Mase? What's going on?" Dec mumbled, as he walked away from the girls, not wanting them to hear the outcome down the phone. "Ah, okay, we'll Lacey got kicked out" Declan laughed, looking over at Lacey who was still sulking against the wall. "Yeah, no shes fine, just concerned" Declan stated. "Okay, okay, well once you've been released I'll pick you up from the back exit" Declan stated, as Lacey finally looked over at him, her eyes shooting a questioning glance.

"His fine, bit of bruising and cramp but he'll be fine" declan stated as he walked back over to the girls. "But he wants a Nando's, he'll be around another hour so we might as well go get that" Declan smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, looking at her own phone.

Remind me to never get on the wrong side of you.. the medic heard you and he was pissing himself laughing. I'm fine, doctors orders of cuddles and a Nando's ;)

Lacey smiled to herself from the thought that Mason was okay, she didn't know what she would do if he wasn't. But she knew deep down that this was the side of football she hated, but she knew deep down also that this was the thing Mason loved, and although their passions were worlds apart, they always seemed to be drew back to each other.
