"You need to calm down" Lacey mumbled, as Dani shook her head. "But what if it's positive?" Dani stated, as Lacey felt her heart sink all over again.
The truth of the matter was that Lacey wasn't even sure what she would do if she looked down and saw two lines, she knew they'd have to be a phone call to someone, but that wasn't what she was thinking first, it was the heartbreak of losing another child all over again, the dreaded thought filling her body as her timer beeped, Dani looking up at her from sitting on the bathtub, Lacey sat on the closed toilet seat, the test they both wanted to know the results of being turned upside down on the rim of the sink.
Lacey took a deep breath and rolled the test over in her hand, the breath she didn't know she was holding leaving her mouth, as she felt the tears she also didn't know where there fall down her face.

Meanwhile, Declan and Mason were walking around the shopping centres in the town, just looking for anything that took their fancy, nothing else really to it. "So, how are you feeling about Lace going away?" Declan questioned, trying to bring on the conversation that he knew was spinning around in his best friends head, no matter how much he shut it away. "I feel better this time around, we feel stronger, yano?" Mason stated back as Declan nodded his head, understanding to some extent where his friend was coming from. "It's still a long time" Declan stated, as Mason nodded his head. "Yeah, but towards the end of her tour we finish in the league so they'll be a couple of weeks where I can go to her" Mason smiled, as he saw a hoodie that he knew Lacey would love, picking up and walking around with it on his arm. "But won't we be looking at the call ups for England then?" Declan questioned as Mason sighed, nodding his head. "There's always the chance that I won't get called up though" he stated, as Declan nodded his head. "Unlikely though" Declan mumbled, as Mason rolled his eyes, he didn't want this conversation to happen, he wasn't ready for it, even if it was with someone he spoke about everything with.
"Any special plans before she goes off?" Declan questioned, as they walked out of the shop and back to the car, ready to head back to Masons to meet everyone for a gaming evening, Lacey managing to make plans with the girls for once and let Mason have a much needed boys night.

"I don't know why I felt so sad" Lacey mumbled, as she threw the hundredth tissue on the sofa, Lauren and Sasha set next to her, Dani opposite, as Lacey cried silently. "Because maybe, just maybe you wanted it to be positive" Lauren whispered, rubbing her friends back soothingly, as Sasha nodded her head agreeing with the girl. "I don't think I wanted it to be, I mean with everything going on I think it would of tipped me over the edge, but I know Mase really wants it" Lacey whispered, as Sasha shook her head. "But you can't cry over something that someone else wants, it's as much your choice as it is his" Sasha mumbled, as Lauren shook her head. "I think, you're right, it would of been a lot to deal with, and when the time is right, it'll happen" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, wiping her eyes again. "Have you told him?" Sasha questioned, as Lacey shook her head. "I don't think there's much need to" Lacey whispered. "Would you tell Jack?" Lacey questioned, looking at Sasha, as Sasha sighed. "I've told him every time I've took a test, I mean they've all been negative, but I felt the need to tell him, not the want to" Sasha whispered, as she pulled a strand of her hair behind her ear. "But that doesn't mean you need to tell Mase every time you take a test, especially if he really wants it" Sasha whispered, as she looked down at her lap. "I was scared shirtless last time I took a test" Lauren laughed, as Lacey looked at her. "I mean, me and Dec have spoke about it, and we both want to be able to have said we've lived our lives, it's more of a retirement thing for Dec I think" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head.

Lauren was right, but so was Sasha with telling Mason, she didn't want to break his heart or get his hopes up with something that didn't even matter anymore now, but she knew deep down she would probably have to have that conversation with him at some point, but Lauren's words rang around in her head. Lacey wanted to be in a stable place to be able to have children and be around to be there for them and give them the best life she could, and she knew that deep down she was still growing as a person, still learning about life, still living her own life, she didn't need to add a baby into that mix, but then she thought about Mason, and how much Mason wanted it at some point, and if she told him she thought she was but wasn't, if that would ruin his hopes, or push him further into wanting a baby again. But she didn't want to have him put his career on hold when he was in his prime time for football, just like she was in music.

"It'll happen when it's supposed to, don't stress" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head. "Right, are we going for Wild Child or Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging?" Sasha questioned, as she flicked between the films with her remote. "Deffo the second option, have you not seen Robbie" Dani laughed, as the girls laughed between themselves.
