Michael and I have been trying for a baby for ages. We've been married a year. I had taken 2 pregnancy test and both of them have come out positive. I'm so excited to tell Michael but also really excited.
Michael came home from getting dinner at the shop and I was sitting on the sofa watching tv. "Hey Michael?" I said, my voice shaking slightly. "Yeah babe? Are you okay?" He asked curiously with a bit of concern in his voice too. "You know how we've been trying to have a baby for a while now?" I asked, nerves still showing in my voice. "Allie, what's going on ar-" I didn't let him finish. I stood up and handed him the 2 tests. A giant smile spread across his face. "Oh my god babe that's amazing!!!" He said picking me up and spinning me around. He kissed me lovingly after he put me down.
"Love you babe." Michael said to me.
"Love you too Mikey." I said smiling. We sat cuddled up on the couch discussing baby names while I was sitting on his lap and his hand was resting on my stomach under my shirt. We ended up forgetting about dinner because we were too excited and ended up talking about the new addition to the family until we both fell asleep.
