Hayley's POV
As things started to get back to normal, I got back to my writing. I currently sat in the study room brainstorming a new idea when Elijah's voice interrupted my thinking.
Without wasting a moment I ran to where it was coming from but was relieved to find him just playing with Leo
"Hey there" Leo said as he gave me a hug
We sat down and talked a little when Elijah suddenly asked me
"So mommy how did you meet Christian?"
Christian's POV
After the trip, mafia work had been a little hectic but nothing I can't handle, as I drove back to to my place, finishing work early all could think about was that night and how much I would love to start a family with her
Crazy how 2 years back I shot people who advised me to start a family and now I am the one who wants to start one.
Fate and love are two of the strongest things in the world, can ruin you completely or help you entirely
As I pulled up into the driveway I saw Leo's car.
I opened the door and instantly I was trapped by Elijah, little guy has been growing attached to me recently, not that I am complaining.
I met Leo and then Hayley and soon all of us had a good dinner
As I lay in my bed with my previous thoughts surrounding my brain, the door opened and Hayley came inside
"Elijah's asleep finally" she said tiredly as she lay beside me putting her head on my chest
I pulled her closer and caressed her hair
"So Hayley I was wondering something"
"Hmm?"
"Do you think we are in a position to think about starting a family?"
She laughed softly
"We are" she whispered and soon her eyes were drifting her to sleep
Hayley's POV
The next morning when everyone had left to their works, I decided to drop Elijah to my mom's place because her and my dad had been blowing up my phone asking me to drop him to their place
Grandparents y'all.
After that I decided to pay a little visit to my doctor, I was having a weird type of morning sickness today and nothing's been helping me

I sat comfortably in the seat as I waited for her to get me the test results.
Suddenly the door opened and she came inside with a smile on her face
"Is everything okay doctor?"
"Yes I believe Hayley"
I sighed in relief.
"Hayley how do you like being with Christian"she asked
This doctor, Kendal, had been pretty close to me and it wasn't a shock to me if she was asking me
questions like that
"I love being with him Kendal; he treats me like the most important woman in his life"
"Then I might have good news for you"
With that she opened the envelope and handed me a document
"Congratulations Hayley, you are pregnant"
