Hayley's POV
It was finally the day
No one can ever describe how anxious I was right now.
"It's almost time" my mom said softly and everyone made their way out.
I changed into my dress carefully not to ruin my hair and makeup. I felt like a princess in it.
When I first saw this dress, I knew I had to buy it.
They did the alterations and the dress seemed perfect. After a while a few of the ladies came in to fix in the dress for me and it was finally time for those first looks.
My dad was the first one to look at me
As the men opened the door between me and my dad and my dad saw me, I couldn't tell how he was feeling right now. His eyes sparkled joy and
happiness but it looked like it was a bit of sadness in his eyes too
Carefully I walked towards him, he kissed me on the forehead.
"You look very beautiful hayl, I can't-" he couldn't speak as tears formed in his eyes
"Dad no" I said sadly. This was the first time his eyes were teary and I know they were happy tears.
Next was my mom
My mom since she had already seen her dress I didn't expect her to have the reaction she had. At a loss of words, both my parents were teary and I felt getting teared up as well
It was finally time.
"Hey, you good?"
I turned around to look at Sarah but instead I found Gavin.
Gavin????
"Hey" he said softly still standing on the edge of the door
"Gavin, you can come in, sure" I said unable to think of anything
He slowly came inside and looked at me
"I just wanted to say, you look beautiful and one thing more, thank you."
"I-um for what?"
"Hayley ever since you met my wife, you treated her like a sister, included her in the biggest moments of your life, so thank you for that, you made me realize that my brother was worthy of love, love like yours, you are the best choice for him and I am genuinely happy to be able to call you family from today Hayley"
I don't know why, but his words made me emotional and I felt my eyes tearing up once again. Why am I so on the edge today??
He pulled me in for a brotherly hug and I hugged him back, I think everything was finally getting back to normal.
After everyone was done meeting me and I was waiting to be called in, Leo and Caleb arrived out of nowhere
"Mrs. Alfonzo? We are finding Mrs. Christian Alfonzo" they said to me
I giggled.
"Okay you look amazing Hayley, for starters" Leo said
Caleb also complimented me and then the wedding song started playing. It was time
The wedding was in the estate only, they have a huge space in the back and it is where we settled everything, my dad was walking with me as we made our ways to the front
My eyes met his, creating a thousand butterflies in my stomach. He passed me a small smile as his eyes sparkled with love and happiness and then I saw beside him
"Kai?" I thought.
This was too sweet of Christian oh my god.
Everything is finally taking good turns and honestly I might just cry right now.
As my dad slowly gave my hand to Christian, he eagerly took it. We stood together and soon I got lost in his eyes
"Your vows please"
Oh yes. I blushed
"I didn't need to write these down because they are forever printed in my heart Christian, the first time I met you, I admit those weren't the best circumstances but now, I feel like it is one reason I saw the side of you and fell for it instantly.as we spend time I realized how much we were meant to be and now there is nothing I would ever want in this entire world except you. I promise to love you, stand with you, and be the partner that you deserve. Always and forever"
"Your vows please"
I looked at Christian and his eyes were shiny
"Hayley, the first time I laid my eyes on you, those attractive eyes of yours, that beautiful smile. I couldn't help but get attracted to them. We spent time and gradually I fell in love with you. Being with you brings out the best in me and i might not have been the best person but I promise to stand with you, deal with your problems, and be the guy that you deserve. Everything I ever wanted, I am getting it now so this is the best moment of my life. I love you Hayley, always and forever"
he concluded, his voice, sweet and husky
The priest signaled for the rings to be bought
"The rings munchkin" kai whispered and a little Elijah dressed in the most adorable tuxedo appeared
He matched Christian and it was beautiful.
The crowd stood in awe as he came over with the rings and passed them to us
"Hi baby" I whispered
"Mommy" he looked at me with sparkling eyes but ran off to my mom
The priest gave one ring to Christian, gesturing him to proceed. "With this ring, as a symbol of my eternal love for you, I will cherish and honor you forever" he spoke as he slid the ring in my finger
I was handed the other ring and taking Christian's hand I said, "With this ring, as a symbol of my eternal love for you, I will cherish and honor you forever" and then slid the ring in his finger.
"With the power invested upon me as a priest, I now declare you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride"
With that Christian pulled me in for a soft yet desperate kiss leaving every part of my body wanting more.
Everyone started clapping and cheering as we got lost in that kiss
