Chapter 3: book store

It's been a couple of days since I saw him, I brush it off. He's probably gonna be here for like two days and leave, me and lily will be ok. Today lily was at a play date with one of her friends so I had a couple hours to myself, and my favourite thing to do when I'm alone, Is to go to the bookstore and read. I was reading it ends with us by Colleen Hoover sitting in a bean bag chair in the corner of the store. I looked up just out of curiosity and there he frikin was. Is he like following me or something? Just as I was about to get up and leave someone else came in front of my view,
"Hi! How's the book so far? It's one of my favourites!" He was handsome I could say that for sure "Hi! I'm enjoying it pretty well so far, although Ryle is getting on my nerves." As he was responding I could feel someone's gaze on me, I looked around and god damn mason was glarin right at me. Mason wouldn't stop glaring, technically he was actually glaring at this kind strangers back and at me for like two seconds then back. I was so pissed off I stared right back at him, who does he think he is? "um is something wrong?" Oh crap, I forgot that mr. Good looking was talking. "oh yeah, I'm so sorry! I just zoned out for a second I hope you don't feel bad!" Poor guy he just wanted to talk about the book. " haha it's ok no worries we all have our days, my names Ajax" he extends his hand out to me. He is one of the kindest men I've ever met, wow. I reach out my hand and shake his, " the names Everleigh but friends call me eve, you can too!" " nice to meet you Everleigh, care to join me for some coffee?" "Yeah of course I would love too, I'm just gonna go buy this book." I walk up to the cashier and pay for my book, by then I noticed mason was gone, thank heavens I didn't wanna deal with him today, and me and Ajax walked to the evermore cafe.
