Chapter 13: spinning sucks

I start spinning in my chair again.

"I think we should go with Jackie's plan, it's smart and I'm totally in for it."

"Do you actually think I'm gonna let you do that? By yourself?"

"I'm not gonna be by myself Mason. You guys will be there. Plus I wouldn't do this if I didn't think I'd be in imminent danger."

"But-."

"You also don't get to decide things for me. That's my choice, not yours."

I cut him off, whoops my bad.

"Do not. Cut me off."

"I will and I can."

I wanna be stubborn too.

"No you can't"

"Yes I can"

I feel like this is gonna go on forever.
Mason gets up, stops my spinning chair and with his arms on either side of me, resting on the chair, he leans down oh so very close to my face.

"You do not. Cut. Me. Off. Got it ej?"

My cheeks slowly turn red. I can feel his hot breath on my face. I turn my head to the side and mumble,

"Fine"

"Good."

I'm not actually listening to him. I'll do it again he can't stop me. If he tries to, I'll slam him into a wall.

"So. I'm in the plan?"

I start spinning again excitedly. This is gonna be so fun.

"Yeah, fine whatever."
Mason grumbles.

Ha. Too bad too sad baby. I'm in for the gold.
I start spinning again. Two minutes later I'm still spinning, I haven't stopped not even for a second.

"Are you gonna fucking stop spinning or are you tryna fly off the chair?"

I finally stop and look at Mason. Or at least I try to. I should've known that spinning for that long is bad for you. I get dizzy and can't see anything. I try getting up to see if that would help but it definitely made it worse, I trip and I head straight for the ground and I close my eyes readying for the impact. An impact that never happened. I feel someone catch me but I didn't have time to look up. I just blacked out.
~ 1 hour later~

I wake up with a huge headache, i blacked out?
Oh my god, what time is it. I need to pick up lily. I sit up faster than the flash and look around the room. Oh god. This is masons room. I get off the bed and look down, someone changed my clothes? Im wearing a white T shirt and blue shorts, who changed me?

Ugh, my head hurts so much, I need water. I leave the room and go down the stairs and when I get down I hear my baby's melodic laugh coming from one of the rooms. I rush in.
There I see lily and Mason both playing with each other. Mason picks up lily and spins her around. awe. That's cute. Mason turns his head to face where I am and his eyes widen. He puts lily down and comes toward me.

"Everleigh, Your supposed to be resting. You span your brains out."

"Mason I'm fine, thank you for picking up lily but I got to go."

"Ej. Go back upstairs and chill out for a bit. You can't drive yet."

"Mason I'm fine leave it."

"Mommy?!"

I look over masons shoulder and lily stands there curiously.

"Lily, baby, come here."

"Mommy your back!!"

"Yes I am love"

Mason starts interrupting us.

"No your not. Lily, mommy still needs to rest. I'm gonna take her upstairs ok? Don't go anywhere stay here."

"Okay!!"

Lily runs back into the room and I face Mason, he looks at me for a second then picks me up bridal style. What the.

"Mason, stop. Put me down I'm fine."

"Your not. Now shut up."

"Your acting like I just got diagnosed with a deadly disease. I jus spam and got dizzy, I'm fine"

"Ej, you span so hard you fainted, do you know how bad that is for your brain?"

"Well yeah I do now."

"Exactly, so shut the fuck up so you can rest."

"I don't want to Masonnnnnn."

He goes into his room and puts me on the bed. "I'm gonna bring you some painkillers and water wait here."

I sit down on the bed and wait. I can't stay here it's too awkward, I can rest at home too I'm not in a state of mind to drive at all.
