"Wow mason, that's something big. Working hard aren't you?"
"Or hardly working."
He gives me a smile and I look around, taking in the beautiful decor and and lighting.
"This place is beautiful."
He's gazes at me.
"Just like you"
"Sorry what? I didn't hear you say it louder."
"Nothing." He laughs.
We walk into the mall or whatever you would call it and start our shopping at all the fancy stores.
Most of them were very expensive stores so I refused to go in them but Mason said that if I can't cover the price it'll be a gift from him to me.
I asked him what the gift would be for and he said,
"Just a gift, for being in my life."
I smiled and he took me to more stores.
When we finished, I ended up buying a silky, satin, emerald green dress. It had a v neck neckline, which wasn't too low or too high and a cross design with straps on the back showing a bit of skin.
I was in love with this dress.
I went and tried on the dress in a changing room and came out asking mason how I looked.
"This is definitely the one ej, you look stunning."
"Thank you! I also love it so much, it's my favourite colour too!"
"It brings out your skin flawlessly, do you want to get this one?"
"Yes! I love it, but what's the price."
"Don't worry about the price, today it's on me."
"Alex, are you serious? Not even half the price?"
"No ej, it's fine. I want to do this for you, let me buy you this."
"Are you sure? Like 100%?"
"Of course ej, anything for you."
I smile,
"Fine this time I'll let you do it but next time, I'm paying."
"That's fine by me."
He smiles back.
Mason pays for me and we drive home after shopping for a little longer to see if there was something nice.
We plan the whole outfit and me and Mason agreed on wearing a green and white flower corsage.
The party's in three days and I finally have my whole outfit.
Basically, I'm gonna wear my green dress, with gold heels, a gold necklace Mason got me after he asked me to be his girlfriend, these big golden hoops on my first piercing and smaller golden hoops with diamonds on my second, the corsage, a couple gold bracelets, and two gold diamond rings I got so many years ago. Two days go by and it's the day before the party. I was talking to Mason and he asked,
"Are you excited for tomorrow? I know you like parties and rich people balls even more."
"Hell yeah, I'm more than excited, I have a surprise planned for you."
"Really? A surprise for me? At a Party i invited you to?"
"Yessir, I gotta be unique with it."
" I see, what's the surprise?"
I start walking away,
"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now would it?"
"Come on ejjj"
"Uhm no. Do I look dumb to you. The point of the surprise is to tell you tomorrow, you can wait. Don't worry."
"Ugh fine."
I wake up the morning of the ball after a good sleep, feeling ready to go against the world.
"Today is gonna be so amazing."
lily had daycare today so I dropped her off a little early and went back home.
The ball is in four hours and it's currently 12:30. That should be enough time for me to get ready after cleaning a bit.
I go upstairs to see if masons up yet, and he wasn't. His backs turned to me so I start shaking him to wake him up.
"Masonnn, get uppp!! Todays the ball, get upppppp."
He's groans and turns towards me,
"What time is itt?"
"It's 1:15"
He groans again,
"I don't wanna get upp."
"You have to get up come onnnn!!"
"I'm gonna start getting ready, you have to shower and breakfasts made downstairs."
"Come onnn!!"
"Okkkao I'm getting upp"
"Good, I'm going to get ready!"
I leave and go to my bathroom to get ready. Couple hours go by and I'm almost done my makeup, I have green and gold eyeshadow to match my dress, eyeliner, and some dark red lipstick. My hair is curled and made into a high bun with two strands out in the front.
Everything's perfect.
I look in the mirror again and masons standing leaning on the doorframe in a suit. We have matching corsages and he matched with my colour scheme.
My god he looks fine.
He walks forward and grabs onto my waist, looking at me through the mirror.
"You look absolutely stunning, just like always."
"Why thank you, you don't look too bad yourself Alex."
"Your welcome and thank you"
He bows.
I smile and giggle and return the gesture.
Ugh guys I'm still so sorry that I haven't written in a while, Ik you guys really like this story. This new semester has finally started so I promise I'll be back to posting regularly! 💗
