"What's the deamenti?" I asked, breaking the panicked silence.
Jason's head snapped down in my direction.
"You picked up on that, huh?" He asked, running his hand through his hair.
I nodded.
"They're a group of people who dont like me very much" he said looking around the corner. "They're like a court..." he explained, picking up on my lost expression
"Oh..." I said
"Jason!" Somebody boomed, earning both of our attention.
"James...." he growled, putting his arm around me defensively.
"Julian wants to see you" he sneered "....both" he added, nodding down at me.
I rubbed circles into Jason's arm, trying to calm him down, as we followed 'James'. A small smile tugged at my lips, feeling his muscles relax under my touch.
"In!" James snapped, pushing me forward slightly.
"Hey! Dont touch her!" Jason barked.
"Ohhh we are defensive over our property, aren't we?" James mocked.
"Jason, leave it. He's not worth it" I said, shooting james a disgusted look.
"If anything my dear, I'd think that you weren't worth it. If you knew what's about to happen to him." He remarked.
" I am not your dear. Got it?" I challenged, raising my eyebrow.
"You've got a feisty one there McCann" he muttered, knocking on a dark wooden door.
"Come!" I heard someone call from the other side.
"Good luck McCann, you'll definitely need it" he sneered, opening the door, before walking away.
"JASON MCCANN! It's been a long time, hasn't it?" A blonde, young-ish looking guy said, staring down at him, from his.....throne.
A frown flashed across my face.
"What is it you want Julian" jason snapped, clenching his jaw.
"That's not very friendly, is it McCann? The person who can read everyone's thoughts.... but one." He started.
"Young Lauren" he said,a sly smile spreading across his face, his head snapping in my direction.
"Come" he ordered, although in a softer manner than hed been speaking moments before.
I took a deep breath in, as I began to walk towards him.
"No" jason snapped, placing his arm in my way, causing me to stop.
"Jason, its ok" I reassured, slowly walking around his arm and towards Julian.
