"Boys ....I think...." a males voice echoed from a few meters away. I looked over my shoulder, instantly recognising the guy from my house. His eyes locked with mine for a split second.
A terrifying grin appeared on his face. My stomach dropped. Oh shit.
"Run!" I yelled to the girl, already dragging her along with me.
"Get her back!!" He roared, visibly pissed off. Tears started to run down her face.
I bolted down the street, making sure I has a tight grip on her, trying to get as far away from the men as possible.
Suddenly a gunshot echoed through the street, I fell to the floor, causing a few cuts over my arms. I froze, expecting some sort of pain to begin running through me. But it never came. Instead the girls body dropped to the floor beside me, her glassy eyes staring up at me.
A bullet had made its way through the middle of her skull. A small scream excaped from my lips, at the sight. I instantly let her hand go and pushed myself away the body.
I scrambled up from the ground, barely able to take my eyes of the dead body, which now lay in the middle of the street.
I looked up briefly, locking eyes with the guy who shot her, before continuing to sprint down the street.
"Move!" He Yelled angrily, clearly not expecting me to keep running.
My legs became more tired with each step I took.
Don't stop! Don't stop! I chanted in my head.
I could hear heavy footsteps beating the pavement behind me.
Suddenly a pair of muscular arms wrapped around my waist.
I only registered what was happening, as I felt myself being lifted off my feet.
"NO!NO! NO!NO!" I yelled, struggling in his grip, desperately trying to get away from him, but failed miserably due to how much stronger he was.
"Would you stop struggling" he snapped, through gritted teeth, shaking me slightly. As he carried me towards the van.
No way.
