It was a cold day in the mushroom kingdom, snow was dribbling down from the clouds while children and memes alike played in the snow. On a hill cloaked in said snow, laid a castle with lights and stars coating the walls and windows. When we enter said castle, we are blessed with the sight of Christmas cheer. Boopkins was watching the newly made Christmas episode of two piece with Bob. Tari and Saiko were talking on the couch while Luigi got drunk and began hitting on himself in a mirror. Under the tree sat a humanoid melon and what looks like roadki- wait give me a second "shuffles of paper can be heard in the back" ah! Yes! Ahem. And what appears to be a very scarred axolotl. But there was something missing on this joyous night. A shitposter, an ex-squid, and a liar were missing. I wonder where they are? Currently in the far side of the castle sits a mad man posting about memes on Christmas, even though most people have lives and will spend them with their families. Outside of said room sits a disheveled human with a beanie. "I don't get it." She said. "Does Mario not want to hang out with us anymore because of some coincidence that makes it sound like everything is his fault?" She kept questioning the man on the pc. "I think it's more than that Meggy. Maybe he feels like we don't trust him for lying or maybe he just feels like an ass for it. We don't know." He responded in a civil way. "Yeah... i guess so..." the human sat there in silence. While moving around the castle further, we are greeted by a lone man in the basement. His face was scarred from the left side of his face to the scruff of his neck. A halo sitting next to him. "So... you gonna do something Mark? Or are you just gonna sulk like a loser in his mother's basement." The not so nice ghost said beside him. "I can't bother-a to care anymore. Can't-a you leave me be?" Silence. "NAAAAHHHH! I think I'll stay here and pester you until you move YOUR ASS!" Silence. The room was quiet. Desti faltered for a moment. Maybe this was to far. She was startled by the sounds of the plumber rising from the ground, as he made a move towards the stairs. "I'm only-a doing this because you annoy-a me too much-a." He said with a small smile. It took the octo ghost a minute to register the words before she started moving towards the door as well. "Maybe I am getting through to him."
SHIFT
The room was quiet. No one really expected Mario to show up. But it was a good silence, a silence that greeted Mario in a way he had forgotten. Mario flashed a smile at the ghost behind him before he strolled down the stairs, said ghost enjoying the feeling of helping someone, after all, she only really knew how to hurt them.
SHIFT
Meggy was trodding down to the main room. She was sad that Red couldn't join them, but she had to stay strong. Upon entering the room, she could feel that the vibe had changed. Confused, she moved down the stairs to see a man dressed in a trench coat, chocolate brown hair sticking out from underneath his skew red cap, a prideful M sitting atop it. The man turned around, and smiled. "Merry Christmas... old friend."
