PRESENT TIME : MUSHROOM HIGHWAY
THIRD POV

Today is the day! The day Mario will tell his friends the truth. He was driving down the road, cautiously thinking about how to tell them about his hazardous existence. He was so busy thinking about it that he hadn't been paying attention to his shaking hand. The shaking itself is not the problem, the events and actions afterwards do. When Mario finally looked down at the wheel of his kart, he nearly had a heart attack. If he were to go berserk I. The middle of a highway then he could cause mass murder effortlessly, that is a serious problem if he plans to tell his friends. After all, he'd rather do it in the castle instead of behind bars in a straight jacket. Mario continued to panic, not noticing his kart slowly swerve to the right. As he rapidly produced thoughts on how to contain himself, he heard a crunch as his left right front wheel flew off, catapulting him off the road and into a nearby tree. The only thing Mario can hear as he sails through the air is his own screams, then it all went black.

Alright! That's the chapter... What?! You want more? Fine...

Melony was currently trying to relax in her apartment lounge. Meggy had decided to tag along, who was she to deny help? She needed it after Mario's great escape. They were talking about simple things like, how was the others day or what was their dinner plans. Anything to distract from the topic of Mario. What Melony didn't know was that later today, Meggy planned on visiting the mad plumber. Their conversation was cut short when Meggy got a phone call from Luigi however. "Hey Luigi. What's wrong?" She asked. In return she received a bunch of incoherent sentences and something about the news and a hospital. Deciding to figure out what he was on about, she turned on the TV and flipped it to the news channel. There on the screen was Mario's face, the headline read, Famous plumber hospitalised in horrific traffic accident! Meggy was many things. Right now, she was worried. And she was not the only one, Melony had gotten up from the couch she was lounging on and quickly went to grab her things. Just like Meggy, she couldn't lose another person so important to her in her life. If she did, than the world itself could burn for all she cared. After all, she had already lost the core to her world. Meggy losing her's would only drive her to destroy the place and recreate it herself. Both girls rushed to the door and through the hallway to the elevator. It was time to visit a friend in need...
