ONE DAY AFTER AXOL'S FUNERAL : INKOPOLIS

THIRD POV

Today was a bad day for Meggy. the day wasn't exactly a good one to start from, but she had to do it. Meggy flipped through the channels on TV, stopping at news about a hospital burning down yesterday. Strange She thought. Meggy thought about what she could do today and opted to check on Melony. Getting up from her couch, Meggy made her way out of her door and into the hallway leading towards the elevator. The trip down the elevator was long, but was to be expected when you live on the top floor of your house/hotel. Once the elevator doors opened agin, she exited the hotel elevator and the later, the hotel itself. She walked towards the square to take the subway only to notice the crowd and headed for the nearest bus stop instead. Since Melony had been living in Axol's old apartment, she wasn't very far away. Upon walking through the crowd, she noticed something within an inch of her view. Large horns that had the shape of an oval stood proudly amoung the multiple heads in the crowd. Must be an accessory She thought. Even if they were, those horns will forever remind her of the day she nearly lost everything again. Upon looking again, the horns had disappeared. Not wanting to remind herself of the horrors, she soldiered on through the crowds. When walking, she passed by a familiar street. In said street was Desti's memorial. Her teammates had made it in memory of her. Meggy looked at it, But she wasn't sad, she had made her proud. With some inspiration to her day, she started to walk again. Before she could walk away from the memorial, she heard a shuffling noise. "Who's there?" She called out. Nothing. Hearing no response or any reoccurring movement, she decides to leave.
Finally reaching the bus stop, she sits down and waits. She tries to pass the time by counting cars. On the fifteenth car, she saw a cape swish and a figure standing on the opposite side of the road, only to disappear as the sixteenth car passed. When her bus arrived, she rushed on in. A mixture of impatience and fear on her mind. The bus trip was about thirty minutes long. Having finally arrived, she gets of the bus and begins her walk to the apartment. She reaches the door of the building. As she is about to knock, she hears a noise and turns around only to be horrified by the sight. Standing in front of her was a humanoid axolotl, it was wearing black ripped pants, a blue long sleeve shirt, it's right side and lower torso covered by a torn up cape with a three sown on, and it's head, half of it was a healthy skin like colour while the other side was an unhealthy and rotting purple, a red eye with a crossed zero in the centre starring in her direction. "A-Axol?" She asked with fear laced in her voice. No response. She blinked once and he disappeared. Am I hallucinating? And where was his horns? I'm definitely going to need a some more sleep after this. She thought. Against her own wishes, she turned around and entered the apartment, Unaware of the stalking shadows she left behind.

Done! Nothing new. Anyway! Enjoy your day!
