"Mom!" Elliot Sommers ran into the kitchen of the Gilbert household with an ecstatic look on his face. "Mom!" He repeated as he tripped over the oxygen-made obstacle in his way. "We got a gig!"

Jenna Sommers looked up from pouring her coffee as her son tripped over his own feet. "Whoa, slow down. Take a chill pill. Have some coffee-- Actually, don't. I never know if it's going to make you crazy or calm you down," Elliot laughed as he sat down in front of his mom, taking a sip of her coffee regardless of her comment. Normally caffeine calms Elliot's ADHD, but after the one time it made him extra hyper, no one voluntarily gives him coffee anymore. "So, what's this about a gig?"

"I meant to tell you last night, but I forgot. Well, I actually meant to tell you the night before that. Technically the morning before that night. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Walker got us a gig! It was sorta last minute, but we can finally play for people outside of Reed's garage!" Elliot rambled.

"That's amazing, Elliot! Where is it?"

"Nowhere special, just the grill," Elliot replied. "Something about trying to stir business because it's been slow or something. That part doesn't really matter to me because we got a gig!" Jenna smiled at her son's enthusiasm as she finished preparing her coffee.

"Well, no matter where it is, I'm happy for you. This is a big step for you and the boys," Jenna responded. "And I will definitely be there cheering you on,"

"Yes!" Elliot cheered, pouring himself some cereal. "Oh! How are you? Any update on the 'Ric-being-a-dirty-little-secret-keeper-about-his-dead-wife' situation?"

"You know, I might regret telling you about that," Jenna responded, taking a bite from her son's bowl of cereal.

"Aw! What? We tell each other everything. Even if you didn't tell me I would know something was up," Elliot raised his eyebrows.
