Elliot didn't even bother hiding his shock at the woman standing at the door.
"Hello, Elena," The so called 'Isobel' said to the girl. "It's nice to see you again,"
"Again?" Jenna looked at Elena in shock, and Elliot could see her holding back every heartbreaking emotion that wanted to break though.
"So you're the woman who's dating my husband," Isobel continued and Jenna took a sharp intake of breath. "I need to speak to Elena. May I come in?"
"No!" Elena quickly protested. "Don't invite her in,"
Elliot saw it in Reed's face that he needed to be on guard when Elena made that comment.
"I need to talk to you, Elena," Isobel calmly continued.
"No," Elena slammed the door shut and looked at Jenna. As Elliot processed what had just happened he carefully pulled his mom back towards him.
"You knew she was still alive?" Jenna asked Elena, in just as much shock as her son. When Elena didn't answer, Jenna shook her head in angered astonishment. "Ric? John? Did they know?"
"I can explain everything, Jenna," Elena tried to argue.
"No," Jenna replied, turning towards the stairs and running to her room.
"No, Jenna please," Elena tried to follow her aunt, but Reed blocked her as Elliot followed after his mother. Elena's protests continued, but Elliot focused on trying to reach his mom's door before she slammed it shut. He sighed when he didn't make it and a tear came to his eye when he heard her sobs.
Elena eventually came up behind her cousin, still trying to talk to Jenna. "Stop it, Elena!"
"Elliot, please. I need to talk to her-"
"No! How could you keep this from her?"
"I need to explain the situation-"
"No explanation can fix something like this!" Elena looked at him in shock. Reed stood back towards Elliot's room, leaning against the wall, a little shocked at his friend's outburst, as well as a little proud. "You hurt her," He continued, heartbroken at his mom's cries. "You, Ric, John, I'm assuming the rest of the Scooby Doo gang knew too. So just leave her alone," He walked towards Reed, and when he knew Elena would leave it alone, he entered his room with his best friend and they finally went to sleep for the night.

Elliot woke up early the next morning, shocking himself by doing so, considering it was 6 am on a Saturday. He looked around for Reed and saw that he had rolled off the bed and was snoozing on the floor.
