Jennie's POV
Irene asked me questions and I answered them. But there is one question that caught me off guard.
"Are you seeing someone?" She asked me. I don't know why but I did not answer her right away. I want to say yes but my voice did not allow me. It took me a while before I answered her question.
"Uhm, yes, Irene-ssi. I'm seeing someone." I replied.
"Oh. Arasso." She replied with a cold expression. What did I do?
Then, our food arrived.
Irene's POV
"Uhm, yes, Irene-ssi. I'm seeing someone." She replied. I don't know why but I was hurt with her answer.
"Oh. Arasso." I replied to her with my cold expression.
Just then, our food arrived. We ate our food with silence prevailing over us. Aish. Why am I being like this?
Why do I have the feeling that my heart is broken? Aish Irene! Stop it! Stop overthinking things. Just eat. Eat!
"Are you okay?" Jennie asked me which snapped me back to reality.
"Huh? Uhm, ne." I replied coldly.
"Oh. Okay." She said.
"I'm just going to the ladies room." She said after a few minutes of silence.
I just nodded in response. Jennie left her phone on the table.
After a few minutes, her phone suddenly rings. I looked at the caller's name.
Caller: My Lili ♥
Huh? Who the hell is my Lili? The caller her thrice before it stops ringing.
After a few minutes she returned to our table.
"Hey, Jennie." I said.
"Huh?" She said.
"Who's my Lili?" I asked. I can tell that she was shocked by my question.
"Uhm, wae?" She asked me back.
"She's been calling you for thrice when you're in the ladies room." I replied.
"Oh." She said and checked her phone.
"She's my fiancée." She continued. So she's the girl that Irene is dating.
"Oh. Arasso." I replied.
"Do you have any more question?" she asked.
"Hmm, anio. That's all for now." I managed to smile.
"Arasso. It's my turn to ask then." She said with her gummy smile.
I giggled. "Go ahead. Ask." I replied.
Just as when she was about to ask me her question, my phone beeps.
From: Cuzzie Joy
Unnie! Where are you?! You have a photoshoot, remember?? Come to the studio now!!
All is set. You're the only one which is not!! Ppali!
Oh my!! I totally forgot about my photo shoot. Aish!!
"Is something wrong?" Jennie asked me.
"Jen, I just remembered that I have a photoshoot today." I replied..
"Oh. You better go ahead." She said.
"Is that okay with you?" I asked.
"Yeah. I understand." She replied with her gummy smile.
"Thank you. You can ask me questions next time." I said.
"Arasso." She replied again with her gummy smile.
"You're really cute! Okay, bye Jen! I'll call you later." I said and went out of the restaurant.
I think I just saw her blushed again. 😎
Jennie's POV
"You're really cute! Okay, bye Jen!" She said and went out of the restaurant. Oh my god! I think I'm blushing again.
I smiled at the thought that she'll call me later. Wait. What?? Why am I smiling? Oh no, Jennie! Are you starting to like her?
Anio! Anio! I just think that she's pretty. Yeah. That's probably it.
But is it? Aish! Stop thinking Jennie!
