[I actually really like this one, but I just never figured out how to work it into a proper oneshot, which is a shame.]
Date of Origin: Saturday, 14th December 2019
Y/n: "Cavandish? Cavandish! *waves frantically as she runs up*
C: "Excuse me, but, do I know you?"
Y/n: "Not at the moment you don't, no, but you will in the future."
C: "But we're already from the future."
Y/n: "No, I mean, like, the future of the future you're from."
C: "Oh. And how exactly do I know you in the future-future?"
Y/n: "This is gonna sound weird... I, uh, I'm your daughter."
C: "Good heavens! But... you don't look anything like me!"
Y/n: "Yea, no, I'm your adopted daughter. You and my other dad, Dakota, adopted a teenager because you thought you couldn't handle having a little kid in the house."
C: "Dakota?" *blushes*
Y/n: *grins* "Yeeeeep. Speaking of, where is he anyways?"
C: *shakes his head* "Getting a burrito of some description."
Y/n: "Huh, so future-future you wasn't lying about his appetite."
C: "Me, lie? Preposterous!"
Y/n: "I don't think you intend to but you tend to stretch the truth a bit. Both of you do. That's why I came back here, to find out how true your stories were."
D: "Hey, who's the kid?"
C: "This is, uh..."
Y/n: "Hm? Oh! I'm Y/n, I'm your daughter from the future!"
D: "My daughter? Uh, no offence, kid, but you look nothing like me. Maybe if I squint..."
Y/n: *giggles* "No need, I'm adopted. I'm both of your daughters."
D: "So, we co-raised a kid together. Am I a cool dad?"
Y/n: *laughs* "The coolest. And you guys are married in the future-future."
D: "Future-future?"
C: "Yes, it's what we've started to call the future past the future we originate from."
D: "Uh huh."
Y/n: *watch beeps* "Oh, shoot! Sorry, guys I have to head back. Glad to see you guys are doing ok."
D: "What's the rush, kid?"
Y/n: "You two will be coming home from the company Christmas party any minute, expecting me to be lying on the couch. I'd better go live up to your expectations." *runs up and hugs them both* "Merry Christmas, dads." *drives off*
D: "So, marriage and a teenage daughter. I can live with that." *swallows* "Got you a corndog, by the way." *hands Cav a corndog*
C: "Oh, why thank you... honey."
D: *lights up like a Christmas tree*
[THE FUTURE-FUTURE]
Y/n: *drops onto the couch and lies down* "That was fun, anyway." *eyes drift shut, snoring softly*
D: "Y/n, we're home! Oh." *walks over to the couch*
C: "She's already asleep and it's not even 9:30 yet."
D: "TV really tired her out, huh? Eh, me too."
C: *lifts her up from the couch*
Y/n: "whines softly, smiles in her sleep*
D: "Jeez, I always forget how strong you are. Remind me never to peev you off."
C: *rolls his eyes* "You do that every day."
D: "Eh, you love me."
C: *carries Y/n towards her room* "Doesn't make you any less annoying, dear." *tucks Y/n into bed, snakes an arm around D's waist, kissing his temple*
D: *sighs happily, smiling down at his daughter* "We did good, Balthazar."
C: "That we did, Vincent, that we did."
