Hey it's me, your friendly neighborhood author! That's me ^

My name is Saltyshimmers (random I know). I evacuated my mother's womb on November 25th, 2003. I was 2 months early. Scary I know.

I joined BTS on October 10th, 2016. I know that date because I got this notification. It was like ' Have you heard this group? Give a listen.' So I did, and it was probably the best decision i've ever made. I was already a kpop fan though. I was into EXO. My first bias was Xiumin, now it's Chanyeol. The first song I listened to was 'Love Me Right' when it came out in 2015 ( I know, ultra nerd alert :p)

I used to be in basketball, then quit when I broke my foot. Plus I was getting bullied for being the only non-skinny girl (I was 230 lbs, I am now 176 lbs) on the team. I never played another sport, but I did volunteer for the nursing home right after. Ever since then, I've been working there. So if you consider lifting old people in and out of things as a sport, then i guess i'm in a sport. Damn them old guys are heavy.

I like to write, and read. My most favorite thing to do is take photographs, anything that catches my eye. I have no idea what college I'm going to yet. I have no plan, but I'm good with last minute decisions.

I'm from Minnesota so there aren't very many options, but it's amazing here and you can't tell me otherwise.

I mostly write fanfiction. Occasionally I will write random creative stories.

I love movies, but especially around christmas. Not a huge christmas movie fan but i will watch some. I like having coco and snuggling on the couch with someone. My favorite holiday would be Halloween. I love doing everyone's make-up. Since I'm good at it. Just driving around the town, just for a joyride is relaxing. Traveling is another thing I like to do, but I have really bad motion sickness. So everything kind of sucks for that. I can not, for the life of me, eat spicy food. Sour food, I can eat that non-stop.

I am a Sagittarius, INTP personality type (hence why i'm so awkward), my Korean zodiac is a monkey. My messages are always open and I'm usually pretty fast to respond. I'm always here for you guys if you need anything.

It's nice to get this out. It kind of takes a weight off my chest. Knowing that you guys know a little more about me. One friend listens to it, but she lives in Pennsylvania. My family has to put up with me screaming over Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi (mostly Yoongles)  every 3 seconds. I would feel bad, but I could be like a drug addict (BTS is kind of a drug not going to lie), I could be so much worse. So they can get over it haha.
